Wanted the PPR, got the scorpion 1, cant really complain especially since I already have the harrier 2 and yet to enter the lvl 4 ammo stage.

Got a scorpion finally. Honestly, I'll never use it. What I really wanted was the Argus or Valkyrie.
Hell, I'd take a Talon III over the Scorpion.

I spent all last night beating Halo 4, so tonight is my N7 night (glad they extended it, I didn't know about it till this morning).

C'mon pack! I still need a Harrier or Typhoon!

Don't worry. It's not great. Overheats in .5 seconds flat and takes f.o.r.e.v.e.r. to cool down.

I got a Typhoon and I still don't have the Harrier... so it was just disappointing for me. Though still a great thing for Bioware to do!

I think what they did is the following:

1) Give everyone an ultra-rare weapon.

2) If there is are ultra-rare weapons that the player does not own, they get one of those.

3) If the player already has all ultra-rares maxed out, they get a promotional weapon.

Otherwise, they get a level in a randomly selected ultra-rare.

I think it just feels that way.  I got an Indra V but don't have the Collector SMG yet.  I'm not complaining, just saying.

Alright so despite my naysaying yesterday I opened my pack to find a typhoon, the only ur besides the csmg I hadn't yet unlocked...... hmm maybe there was some ultra awesome algorithm involved

I finally got the harrier in mine. Have at least one of every other except for collector smg and Valkyrie.

Ok. Revised logic.

1) Give everyone ultrarare (Valkyrie included in the pool)
2) If there are any URs they do not own (excluding CSMG, valkyrie), give them one of those randomly.
3) If they have all Ultrarares, they get a Valkyrie.

It seems like it gave a ur you hadn't already unlocked (but the csmg was excluded for some reason) if you had all urs maxed it gave you a promo (again csmg excluded) that would cover every post I've seen on here..... maybe not random just this one time...... again could be selection bias or somethin

Yes, it looks like they tried to pass out some of the stuff you did not have yet. My last three commendation packs have been Eagle, so I have an Eagle III now. I got the Valkrye in the N7 pack and it looks like a lot of people got the Harrier I so Bioware did a good job.

It could have been that if you didnt have a valkyrie, but have at least one of every UR, then you got a valkyrie.

i have 2 URs at V and the rest at X, and I got the one weapon I didn't have - the valkyrie...
