I'm a bit stuck with this quest I'm afraid. I thoroughly explored the 2 locations on the map. And I don't know what I missed to continued with the search for the Dwarf Paragon. I did collect a bags with bodyparts which seem to have unlocked a side quest. But I have no idea what to do next...

There's Aeducan Thaig and Caradin's Cross so far? You need to get to the correct exit of Caradin's Cross to unlock Ortan Thaig. There's a three-way intersection, I think, and you need to pick the road to the end.

Oh when you do get farther make sure you have a healer i had to take down the bosses without one

I had Sten, Alistair and Oghren with my Rogue last time I was there. They tore through those Deep Road bosses like butter.

Sten certainly beats any boss when properly equipped and set up... I use him always later in the game as the tank when I am not a tank myself - Equip him with the Blood Dragon Armor, Yvesecia (or how was that 2h-sword from the Mage Tower called?) and a few other good stuff and he's pretty good. As a matter of fact, he nearly decimated Flemeth on his own while Wynne and I healed him as mages. Alistair died too quickly :/
KariTR, depends on how you use Wynne. I found out that you either need to meddle with her tactics VERY much to get her tactics well enough, or pause and control her from time to time. Your own character seems to have pretty good tactics in general (although it grabs Taunt and Threath sometimes as a warrior while I DON'T want that to happen on that time, because I've got Sten already then to threathen).
