my thoughts are that you should use the search function, and its a rumor, unless Bioware themselves say otherwise. Unless the article contains quotes from EA or Bioware, you shouldn't even bother to give it a second look.

I'll believe it when I see it. Those are my thoughts.

If you wanted thoughts you could have just checked one of the other dozen threads on this subject.

Same here, or at least see Bioware comment/confirm it. otherwise, its not happening.

Considering they have not locked the original thread gives credence to the theory and it seems the right time-frame.

Oh, but they do! Remember when Assassin's Creed II was supposed to take place in feudal Japan, ninjaing your way through the cities?

Or like Jade Empire 2, KoToR 2/3, NWN 2. Mind you none of those came to fruition anywhere near the way they were originally rumored to be. As for not locking the thread, no reason for them to. It's all speculation on where the game will go next. nothing more. There have been tons of threads speculating where the game will go next long before this rumor popped up and none of that have been locked strictly off of subject matter.

I guess.. but im totally sure that this is correct.

Also it's not speculation if some sites have been getting this 'inside' information, if it was wrong they'd lock threads saying that it is totally wrong and they'll announce whatever expansion when they are ready.

It is a common tactic to leak expansion details out to a public so consumers will be on the edge of their seats waiting to see if it's real or and that drums up interest.

I don't know about it honestly some of the facts mentioned in the article that Kotaku link mention increasing the level cap from 20 but its already set above 20 so it made me think it was a little sketchy. Also this may just be me but I don't want to play as another character in some damn side story while my other character is doing all the cool stuff it would be like that Lord of the Rings RPG for gamecube where your whole quest is to find aragorn's party and tell them something and the whole time your just following them around trying to catch up.

The timing seems right but I'll just worry about Return to Ostagar for now!!! Tuesday!!!! No sense in getting all hyped up over nothing. Besides Bioware hasn't done too well with the expansion thing in almost 10 years. So I don't plan on setting the bar too high. Honestly I doubt it will be 15 hours but I'm sure it will cost between $20-30 :(

A) Somewhere in an interview they said it is more like 3-5 hours per DLC, and either free or 2-10 USD per DLC. Somewhere on an Dutch gaming site. I dunno why, but a few of the bigger BW-scoops always tend to come first in an interview with an Dutch gaming magazine and/or site ;)

B) Those expansions you're talking about, have so far been developers outside Bioware with Bioware as the distributor, nothing more then that as far as I can recall.
