I am  not sure if this rant would have been off topic in the other thread  so I decided to make a new one .

I  just  watched the game stop   trailer and learned a few thing . The squadmates  are set . and  from what i can tell  Omega  is  mostly just  MP type shooter.

I am almost certain  that  I am not  going to buy this dlc  simply put

No  Ashley   No   DLC  money from  me  ...Period its as simple as that .

Chris Priestly wrote...

Yes, we are really listening.

Now, and I know this sounds a little harsh, but there is a difference between "listening" and "obeying". We do listen to fans and take their feedback into consideration when we make games, DLC, balance changes, etc. However, that does not mean we are going to blindly obey what is requested by some people.

Not everyone agrees on what should or should not be in the game. And not everythign that people ask for is possible to be implemented based on the way the code of the game is structured. And not everything is possible for story and design reasons that I can't say.

I know that not all choices made by the team are in line with what all fans want (incoming "you can say that again Priestly" in 3..2...1...), but Omega IS very strong and I think you'll enjoy it if you give it a chance.

[smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie]

Your  listening but your not "obeying"   the company you work for has that  right .  You have  proven  that fan concerns don't appear to matter to the company   with  stuff like Romance ,  Li's Character interaction  and endings .

As Consumer I also have the right not to buy your product  if I am not happy with it .

The question is to Chris or  anyone  at Bioware  ( and any one else that wnts to comment ).

1. Please  tell me  why I would I buy dlc when  cant  even  play with  the squadmate I want to play with ? Why should I  even bother giving it a chance ?

I would love to hear an official response to this valid question.

The Truth  is  you   maybe  listening  but you don't seem to  care  about  a segment  of your fans that  actually think   romance Li   and character interaction and development is important

Look  at how many posts that you have  in the romance  section  in total  that  you closed "for a weekend"

Yet  the last  two DLC now you have released have  had no  new romance  LI content

It may  not even matter to you that you lost  my $15  but i wonder how many  more of  those  $15 you lost   as well.

Even  if  OMEGA is  successful   all that  proves  is your catering to the MP arcade shooter. COD /Halo crowd now and forgetting  the people that were there when you were smaller and  had just released  BG

Bioware  your  changing  and not in a good way.

I refuse to read that on the basis that it is a mess and you should fix it.

Because some of us like Aria and like a change of pace once in a while? They never hid the fact that the DLC has to do with Omega and that Aria is a prominent character in it. If you don't like pizza then don't show up for pizza day, but don't be mad that the restaurant is having a pizza day for people who like pizza.

I don't know, why did you play Overlord and LotSB?

Because they expanded on a story that had not ended yet and there was the possibility that it would affect ME3.

What i think is funny is the frase "give it a chance" but to give it a chance i need to pay 15$ since there is no demo to see what the deal really is.

Maybe this chance should come from other places like youtube or torrent...

It's a shame, ME1 and ME2 when i finished the game i played again and was ready to buy any new content they released.

For ME3 though... Played once, then played just the ending again for EC, and... thats it. I have lost all the will to learn more about ME universe that is related to this trilogy. Don't get me wrong, if the next ME is set 100000 years in the future, i will jump on board, but for now, no. I don't even know what happens on Leviathan DLC.

And thats weird because i don't want nothing history related to ME, but i wan't other products like statues and action figures lol

for me mass effect 2 was excellent and I HAD to play more, it was a poor consumer choice but that is how it happened

also I was under the impression when I played me2 and 1 that my choices would some how matter

Chris Priestly would tell you that Bioware is like a Burger Joint. If you don't like their product, that's perfectly fine, not everyone likes the same Burger Joint.

I don't know, he made a comparison similar to that one time.

I always wondered why Chuck Testa has the Totenkopf (3rd Waffen SS Division) badge on his cap. Is it... Testaception?

Is that Chuck Testa? Nope! It's Heinrich Himmler XD!

I admit to not actually reading through all of that, but I will say that I share your lack of interest in Omega.

No squad, no sale.

Then don't buy Omega, it's not like everyone bought Overlord either.

It's not hard.

I was able to pick my squad mated  and ther ewas some interaction  onbe of them was  Miranda  even on the playthoughs  when  I  was  with Ashley she was not  a LI. From  what  i have found out  OMEGA dosnt give  you the option to choose even  one  squadmate  to take with you.

No ****, Einstein. We're just voicing our displeasure with the direction the DLC's are going. If you don't understand this, than God help you.

Leviathan had more squadmate interaction than any DLC before it.

So claiming that DLC is somehow on a trend of decreasing squadmate interaction is incredibly foolish.

Why would we possibly think that?   After all, we can't bring any of our squad mates to Omega.  You don't provide a lot of interaction in one DLC only to completely rob the players of it in the next.  Customer satisfaction doesn't work that way.  They need to stop making up excuses and do something right by this series.

This is true.

And to be fair, many people have been asking for female turians and Aria as a squadmate for some time now.

Simple answer, save your goddamn money already, it's not this companies responsibility to make every single piece of content a make out session for Ashley.

This dlc is to tell a story about how shepard helped change the future of omega, and how he defeated cerberus there. If that doesn't intreset you, than you don't buy it, simple as that. I wasn't interested in wardens keep for DAO, should I complain that they should make me care about warden's keep, or just not download it. Which is more logical for a reasonable adult to do?

If it doesn't correct the travesty of an ending, then no sale. I will admit, being able to have a dragon mount and fly to a new setting is interesting...wait, that's Dragonnborn. That's where my DLC money is going. Some game companies remember that they're game companies.
