Cerberus Trooper- This guy seems to be the basic mook unit for Cerberus, he is pretty generic, with a big black helmet that is rather easy to shoot, a Hornet SMG like every other Cerberus unit, and grenades he uses infrequently. He has no armor, barriers, or shields of any kind, so he is an easy target as he also does not move very fast. Nothing really special about this guy besides how unremarkable he is. Aim for his large head and he will die. His appearance is most similar to the Dragoon, but he is much slower and less durable, you may mistake him for a Dragoon at first until you get used to it.
Centurion- These guys are a step up, they are clad in mostly white armor with slightly smaller heads, and are equipped with moderate shielding and a Mattock. The most annoying thing about them is that they launch smoke grenades that obscure your vision, which can lead to things sneaking up on you if you are not careful. Anything with some sort of wallhax or putting a scope on your weapon can easily negate this advantage though. You can stun him with overload and go for a headshot, or just melee him, as he does not put up much of a fight on his own.
Nemesis- These are annoying, I am pretty sure they are female but they make lots of weird noises so I am not sure what is up with that. They are snipers who use a Raptor that is not actually a Raptor because it does a lot of damage per shot and fires slow. It is very obvious when a Nemesis is trained on you, because they have a big giant laser sight that remains on you for 3 days before they fire. On her own she is not much of a threat but if you are fighting a bunch of other enemies (note: not always Dragoons), she can hit you and screw you up. If she has support it is difficult to kill her as she will stay far away from the fight and snipe you, sticking to cover when she is not shooting, and you may not be able to get close enough to kill her due to all the other things wanting to make you not alive anymore. On maps with high ground she may be able to shoot over your cover, so try to take cover behind a wall if you can. If not, keep moving around so she cannot keep her sights on you for long. I have found it is relatively easy to countersnipe her if you have a weapon that can do so, though with her shields it can be difficult to kill her before she flees unless you have a particularly powerful weapon. If you attempt to engage her at close range she will usually flee because she is not retarded and knows she can't beat you. Stun her if you are in close and she is basically dead, otherwise try to countersnipe her.
Guardian- these guys are a little weird, but they are not too tough if you know how to deal with them. They are visually similar to the Centurion, except that they have a big metal shield that they carry in front of them. This will completely absorb most small arms, and can block most heavy melee and affords him some resistance to powers cast on him from the front, though some will stagger him and give you a second where part of his body will no longer be covered by the shield. He carries an M-358 Talon shotgun pistol and steadily advances on you, so engaging him at close range is not a good idea unless you can kill him quickly or have lots of health. His shield is largely negated by the small hole in he uses to see out of though, and anyone who can shoot worth a crap can simply shoot through it and hit his head which is usually right behind it, killing him instantly with most sniper weapons. Additionally, either using AP ammo, AP mods, or any weapon with natural piercing (I.E. Black Widow) can shoot right through his shield like it was not even there. Powers like Lash and Pull are also effective as they will cause him to drop his shield and apparently he is too stupid to pick it back up. Without his shield all he has is his meager health, and he is an easy kill in his bright white armor. Grenades and proximity mine will also work well with proper placement.
Combat Engineer- These guys are pretty weak on their own but they are very nasty if left unattended. You see, that giant backpack on their back is actually a robotic turret they can put down on the ground. This takes them a few seconds during which time they will not move or attack, if you hit them with certain powers or powerful weapons during this time the turret randomly explodes (cause that makes so much sense), and he will be staggered. Without his turret though he is a pretty easy kill, being a little less durable than a Centurion without as much firepower. He does not seem to be able to deploy more than one turret in his lifetime, so if you destroy it he is pretty much helpless. Kill him quickly though, as he can also repair mechanical units like the turret or Atlas using space magic, its sort of like how the Engineers in battlefield can repair a tank on their own by standing near it and using a wrench on the air near them.
Sub Enemy: Turret- This thing shoots really fast and accurately and will kill you very quickly, though it is stationary. There is a short delay between it spotting you and when it starts firing, as it has to acquire you as a target first. This thing has armor and shields, neither of which are very strong, though it is small so it can be difficult to hit from range. It seems to be best to snipe them, though a combination of a shield draining power like overload with an armor destroying one like warp will also kill them quickly. It's not a very good idea to try to melee a turret, but some classes can pull it off.
Phantom- This beeyotch is really annoying, I'ma tell you that much. She seems to be a semi- boss unit like a Ravager or Brute, but much smaller and faster than either of those, and has pretty strong barriers with moderate health. She is armed with a sword which loading screen tips claim you can destroy, but you would have to be like, Jay_Hoxatron to do that reliably since she moves around so damn much. She also has some really annoying ass wrist blaster thing that is stupidly accurate and pretty powerful. She has way too many tricks up her sleeve. These include: her dodge, which I am pretty sure gives her a damage reduction, her aforementioned wrist blaster, a cloak which renders her partially invisible (you can still see her if you look closely, she will usually use this after she has taken some damage to heal), some annoying power shield that seems to block pretty much every power you throw at her (she also seems to sometimes be able to move while this is up, which is super annoyin), and her sync kill. Yes guys, someone besides Collectors and Reapers have one now. When she gets close she will attack with her sword (duh) and after a few slashes she might sync kill you, locking you into an animation where she impales you and instagibs you. Generally it seems that the only reliable way to kill her is to stun her somehow and then have everyone kill her super fast before she escapes. She usually spawns in later waves and is very annoying when accompanied by Dragoons as they can bumrush your position together and overwhelm your team.
Atlas- This is, for lack of a better description, a giant robot. This is the new boss unit for Cerberus. It has a big obvious sound that it makes when it moves, and is very slow. However it also has a crapton of shields and armor so it can be difficult to kill it without very powerful weapons or focus fire. This big guy has a missile it fires, which has a short little animation before firing, it is pretty powerful but it is not an instagib like the rocket launcher you have, though for some squishy classes it might as well be, it also seems to do some fire damage over time after the initial hit, and this missile will follow you home unless you are very good at dodging or in cover. It also has some slow firing burst gun but this isn't used very much. Its role does not seem to be so much to kill you as to force you to keep moving, as with its powerful albeit slow firing armament and large shields/ health he can steadily move up on you, forcing you to abandon your position due to the fact that fighting giant robots at close range is a really, really stupid idea, since you know, they have like 100 times your strength. He can also sync kill you though this is rare since he is hella slow and will not do it very often even if you are in close range. When you see an Atlas, you should prepare to retreat if it is getting close, or else have your team focus fire on it to destroy it as quickly as possible. A class with a powerful armor destroying weapon like a Black Widow or Claymore can take it out very quickly once its shields are down though. Its durability is similar to a Banshee but it is much larger and slower so it will not seem like it.
That's all for now, if you guys have any other tips, please post! Also, seriously Bioware, thank you for nerfing the Dragoon spawns, it was rather silly, I am very glad you did this.
