Really? I've seen one Engineer plant turrets over and over again, just only one at a time. Maybe it's just bad luck.

Nice reading.
There is actually newly introduced Cerberus unit called "Twin Turrets" though.
In some maps, with added turret deployment points, you can find two turrets right next to each other.

I do not know for sure, you may well be right, though it wouldn't really make sense if they could do this.
