I've always wondered about this, and because I'm currently doing a playthrough of ME1 right now and came across it again...
You know that Asari chick in the Noveria lounge where you find Quin - the one that wants you to talk to that guy? At some point during your conversation with her she calls you (or at least calls a female Shepard, don't really know bout a male Shep) "dollstone" (at least I think that's what she says, I never play with subtitles on) Has anyone ever figured out why she calls you "dollstone" and what it means? I never heard it explained or even used ever again in any of the games.
"Dollstone"?

It's "Dull stone" (on the subs). Guess she means she thinks Shep is dumb as a bag of rocks.

I thought it could have been some racist Asari referance to Human heads, our lack of tendrils. Smooth, uninteresting, & unatractive domes of ours...

"Dull stone" is actually a real world expression. Back when mills were used to grind flour, if the millstones were "dull" the grinding was uneven and consequently the bread baked from such flour was of poor quality.
