Lol, this topic made me laugh so hard.
If it was me, I'd have probably gone around the map killing guardians and answered along the lines of "sorry, I have more important things to do"
And... Start laughing by myself if she goes on yelling.
Edit: also, I'd have stayed in the lobby after the inevitable wipe, just to annoy her.
Excellent. Just for morons like you, i would stand 1 meter outside the circle and cloak so you can take all the aggro then kick you in the lobby after the timer ends. Or maybe if i'm in a bad mood, alt-f4 and kill the entire session so your host migration fails utterly. I don't mind wasting the time
And I wouldn't mind you doing any of those.
Actually, I would be quite happy with my abilty to make a person such as yourself rage-altF4 a game

. then... Female voice... yells.... GET IN THE DAMN HACK CIRCLE....
Are you sure it was a female voice? Statisitcally speaking it was more likely to be that of a pre-pubescent male...
I hope it was at least. I do'nt think a male could have such a high pitch voice

In her defense, it does suck to be the only one trying to complete objectives. More than once I've said "F**k this noise", and just left the circle/drone and went back to killing stuff and let the timer count down and see if anyone else notices. Specially if it's wave 10 and I'm still the only person trying to do objectives.
I don't see why people keep on misunderstanding me. I am saying it was my fault completely, and she had every right to get angry. Especially when everyone else wasn't even close by and I was like 2 feet away just spam killing guardians >.<

I've never seen it work. Sure, that lonely player may be distracting a banshee and some marauders. But we're still getting overrun by a kajillion brutes, a second banshee, and ravager fire. I say their firepower is more useful in the circle than outside.

responses here boggle the mind. 'no! Make me! Troll her by staying just outside'
If I was the only one in a hack circle getting all the aggro while all my teammates were off somewhere derping Id rage too.
This. I can't believe all the comments here from people who apparently don't think they should have to help with objectives at all.
Just last night me and one other guy had to do a collector hack with scions and praetorians crawling all over us while the other two sat on the other side of the map taking pot shots at troopers and whatnot. I burned a shizload of ops packs, gels, and thermal clip packs and played tag-team revive with the other guy. I didn't have my mic on, but I wanted to yell at them too. I spent the rest of the match looking for an opportunity to detonate a possessed abomination in the face of the worst offender (the other one actually did come after we were about 2/3 complete, so I reluctantly gave him a pass).

I usually target the heavies going in. Sometimes one will round a corner before I can finish it off, and I will call out to my team what's headed their way and from which direction. That way my team can finish it off quickly and continue hacking with little problem.
Normally after a wave like that, I'll get teammates suddenly speaking saying thanks for the cover, etc. Some people on here will think I was just boosting my score. That's fine, but that's not how I play. The friends I play with know I don't care about my score at all.
All I care about is everyone playing their role in-game, completing objectives quickly and with little hassle, and everyone extracting.

Oftentimes my PuG (silver) teammates wonder "where did all the enemies go?" because they don't see any.
They usually see some eventually, though.
In the kill feed.

Yeah but, you know... Guardians man! You have to get them before someone else does! They're THE Cerberus unit everyone wants a piece off! And when the hack is completed, everything stops respawning!aimimia wrote...

And where was the rest of your team? Why weren't they even close?

Recently though I've been in the hack circle or the drone escort and people will be dropping on the other side of the map and then waiting to revive like they think I'm going to save them. Uhhhh...no. Die at or close to the objective and I'll help you out. I'm a bit too busy trying to win to go across the map and save you.

Funny story OP. I ALWAYS stop to kill guardians. They are so rare these days. Let her yell. you'll get in the circle once the guardians are dead. ;-)
Given I really need guardians to if finish off Cerberus challenge. I would have been willing to let the time expire as long as I got the kills.

Judging from what N7HQ shows you want to unlock all banners.aimimia wrote...
So I go in wave 6 and it's on upload/hack so I make my way there, but on the way I see Guardians... So I get side tracked... and they kept spawning in the same place.... so I got even more sidetracked...
If so you should try to get those objectives done as fast as possible, there are plenty of challenges that need you to do 200 waves with one kit and those are the ones that need the most time (at least 20 games each), you will easily complete husks, guardians and so on while doing those waves.
So:
Unlock all banners as fast as possible = Never leave the hack circle

I will not hesitate to leave the circle if my entire team is downed. I would rather kite the enemies to another part of the map than let myself suffer the same fate. I usually make it back in time to revive everyone and finish the hack. A good team won't put me in that position and we'd just mow down anything within 20m of us.
I was on a 4 x PPR TGI team just for kicks the other day. We all focused fire, just because it looked so cool.
But yeah, we were the lawnmower. The Cerbies were the grass

They're not misunderstanding you fantasy, they are just answering the other people posting in this thread, like I did before.
Surely you were doing something wrong here. I'm not arguing that.
I'm arguing that whatever a guy does in this game, it still remains a game, and you should not yell on the microphone.
Keep looking at the bigger picture, you know? You're just watching at some pixels changing themself on the screen of a machine in front of you. Not much to yell about, really.
Complain, yes; politely ask, yes; yell, no. The moment you do, you become the one on the fault side. And I become the one trying to get you as mad as I can.

Political Correctness has ruined this country... everything is offensive now.
Quite frankly... you need to take that whole mindset of never offending someone and shove it where the sun don't shine. Sexist/Racist humor is funny... not only that... it sells. For instance: Dave Chappelle Show and Tosh.O...
Quit taking everything seriously you over-sensitive, ACLU-loving sissy boy...
