#1 You should have ignored the Guardians and headed for the hack zone anyways.

#2 However, because she yelled, you should have done the exact opposite of what she wanted.

I still find it silly that sometimes I'm stuck with leading a boss around, suppressing spawns as best I can and taking potshots at enemies.

I could kill the boss but that would have it respawn by the allready taxed team.
Or I could drag it along with me to the circle.

This depends very heavily on what is going on and the difficulty you are playing on. On Bronze you could potentially say this is 100% true you dont leave the hack circle in a team.

If you play solo or your team for whatever reason is being overwhelmed and you're not busting out cobras for whatever reason, you need to run away. This is a judgement call, ever  more important on higher difficulties. If your team is going to wipe in the hack cicle because you are surrounded by bombers, phantoms, dragoons or geth, you need to get away from the hack circle for them to chase after you so you can go back to the hack circle and pick them off as you go.

People who make the comment about getting in the damn hack circle on Bronze is often a tell tale sign that they either
1. Never played on gold+ with a hack objective on the non-original maps (though some of the orignal maps have hard hack circles)
2. They're trying to show off they're more knowledgable than an obvious newbie.

The only legitimate reason I seen for someone to shout at someone to get into a hack circle when they don't is score fantaic. But most people with sense don't bother saying anything because its a waste of time.

Males do this also but in my experience I have actually ran into a much larger percentage of female gamers who do this.

Last time I was in a hack on London and all 4 players are in the zone but I am an Asari Vanguard so every time my shields would go offline I would Biotic Charge someone and if I ever hit someone outside the circle a girl would come on the mic and angrily yell at me to get back in the circle.

I've had another girl go off on a rant on how she hates playing with people who don't run to the objectives as fast as possible because you get more credits for the time bonus (even though I tried to explain to her the time bonus especially on early waves are so small it hardly makes a difference).

Another girl was trying to camp in the center high ground room on Firebase Dagger and wanted me to watch the long hallway and tell her whenever enemies would come down it. I never bothered telling her, mainly because I could kill them all before they reached the room but if she ever noticed I wasn't telling her she would get mad.

Plus a few other stories I will save since this is already long...

Though this isn't meant to be a knock on women as a whole. I have still played with female gamers who were better than most male gamers and who were far more polite.

Stay in the hack circle when all I have is Reegar I'm running around the confines of the circle screaming I AM USELESS IN HERE UNLEASH ME!! All while the enemy closes in - at that point I can do some damage but do we really want Collectors swarming the circle...sometimes I leave and fight...but most of the time I stay.

So that was me. And it was totally just as much my fault.

In my defense, I got dumped in during wave 6 as well, and for a while it was just the two of us on the map. So I'm already annoyed at getting put in the middle of a game, in the middle of an objective, in a two man situation (I had just come from gold pugs (oh the stories I could tell from last nights pugs...), I was looking for an easy game, obviously that didn't work so well). And as aimimia points out - I didn't mic until you killed that spawn - and then started moving away from the circle instead of towards it, which caused the spawns to split to either side of the hack circle (I was getting surrounded pretty fast at that point).

Not in my defense, I was trying to take bites of my dinner between powers, and I wasn't really paying attention to the game for the first minute or so and let myself get surrounded in a really bad way. So it was definitely in part my own damn fault.

And FTR, if you had trolled me by standing just outside the circle or something, I totally would have laughed. Both because I would have deserved it, and in the meantime it would have taken some of the aggro off. I dunno if I mic-ed this in, but when you came straight to the circle, I was totally flabbergasted, I didn't think it would work!

Female here, and I do warn people about things like a phantom sneaking up behind them, but I'm not bossy in any way. Nobody usually pays any attention to my gender, except for once when someone exclaimed, "Wow, it's a girl voice! COOOOL!"

I was trying to remember the name because I didn't know who had spoken but yeah lol I got too scared as soon as you yelled since I hadn't been hearing anything/anyone speak for ages, and then a sudden yell... I blame the guardians... blame the guardians!

I'm actually sorta unsure of the timeline the more I think about it, the gold pugs might not have happened until later? Either way, I was frustrated from difficult games and looking for something easy and I did not get it (and my soup was going cold, goddamnit, that's unforgivable!).

But those guardians. That's really the answer. Maybe I was jealous of your guardian kills because daaaaamn those guardian points!

Haha congratulations on that, it takes some balls to admit that was you with what people have been saying.

Anyway, I think you should try this more often - after some games tonight, I have to say fantasy was playing much better than he used to

Complete Gold in 20 minutes = 3 per hour = around 240k per hour
Complete Gold in 30 minutes = 2 per hour = around 160k per hour

There is a difference, not the time bonus in the first place but still a difference.

Hmm... never happened to me, but the female gamers i have come across have been polite, a couple of them even apologize while getting insta-killed, which taught me to do so when i feel the team needs me more. With some guys its been downright brutal about your gameplay, which i do not mind as it points out the mistakes you are making. As for myself the only time i used something unparliamentary was "get the B********" (a marauder had downed me) - to my team mates.
