As I have said in the poll comments.  I always play a warrior playthrough first.

First warrior, then mage, then rogue, then a bisexual blonde female PC.

Chances are, since the bi blonde Warden was a 2-handed warrior, and the bi blonde Hawke was a dual-wield rogue, it only makes sense to make the bi blonde Inquisitor a pure damage dealer mage. Hopefully, in the spirit of continuity, the Inquisitor will be better looking than Sylvia Hawke as she was better looking than Rienna Cousland, but Sylvia is a total babe and knockout (yes, I am male) so I don't know if it's possible, but I will try very, very hard.

Mage as always. Brings the conflicts of Thedas much closer on a personal level. I always sympathise with mages and hate the chantry and templars but as a mage its even more interesting. If the game is interesting enough to get a second playthrough the next class it
depends which remaining class has more interesting specializations.

Hopefully this time around they make playing a mage more of an issue. People need to react more strongly to mages. Especially blood mages like myself. And I want to get to destroy all the ignorant fools that disagree with me.

It depends on the weapon choices for warrior. If DW warrior will return, of they'll put a new skill tree with different weapons for warriors, I'll try warrior first. Otherwise, I'll start with mage.
At this moment, with no info about classes, I'll say mage.

If they give us the chance to play a female warrior and make it feel like being Rowan or Evangeline, I'd definitely try that. If there's a background that works well with rogue, I'll try that.

But though my first DAO PC was a rogue, partly because I like dwarves, mage proved too cool to resist in DA2. I love both the flavor of the story and the gameplay surrounding mages. So mage is extremely likely for me. I like making things explode!

Always a mage. I found the backstory, particularly for my original female Warden interesting. Also Iike using Area of Effect spells - very handy for clearing out a room! A rogue is always my second option.

I want to play rogue, since I only played one once in DA2, but depending on what the origin says, I may start with a mage.

I almost always try a mage first, but usually end up always abandoning my first character and rerolling a rogue.

I love mages more than rogues, but game mechanics/design usually leave magic feeling drab and rathing boring to play.

Hopefully DA3 won't put mages in the same outfit for the entire game carrying a staff that looks exactly the same as the last staff. Giving mages the same level of customization in looks and equipment as the other classes would go a long way toward making mages better.
