I don't think that neither rogues or mages are cowards. It's being smart (rogues) or using the gift you have (mages)

I'm going to play all three classes eventually, so I'll play the classes in this order:

Mage, Rogue, Warrior

Edit: Misunderstood question. I'll be playing as a vauge copy of the mage to the left.

Also, the thread topic is the exact length as to bug out when you hover over the numbers at two pages. I'm going back to hovering.

I always default to Warrior first- until I know what kind of baddies I'm up against- even though it isn't my favorite class. Then mage, then rogue- always female unless I have to be male for an achievement.

Played Mage first in DA:O, Rogue first in DA2, so I'll probably go for Warrior this time around.

Mage for me, at least on my first play through. And I hope you have the option to be an apostate, (background choice maybe?) circle mage just isn't my thing.

My canon GW was a warrior, my canon Hawke is a mage, i would try a rogue but both in origins and DA2 the class did never attracted me

Depends on the story, but probably rogue, then mage and lastly warrior and then whichever I enjoyed most.
