The (Geth Prime's) combat drone is a joke.

I'd be fine if I could just, could just, could just, aaand I'm down.
If a stun interrupts a cover attach, I think the stagger should play out, then finish the attach.
Aside from that, Geth don't have any sync kills. They need something to take up the slack. Being "staggered to death" seems a fitting replacement. I think Primes, and their drones are fine. (In fact, I love the improved drone.) The multi-tap Rocket Troopers are BS. I'd rather see a single shot RT with an increased rate of fire. Or just increase their numbers.
Being pinned down by one RT multi-tapping is garbage. I'd rather have two or three firing "normally".

Sure, that will make things "less easy", but I think most sane people won't call it "fun". Games are supposed to challenge those who play em. Good play means you win, bad play and you'll lose. I fail to understand how "not playing" fits in. When I don't want to play I watch a movie, read a book or something.

I actually decided to first try it with my demolisher, camping setup (harrier and black widow) and a buddy (destroyer) guarding my flank/rear.
The other 2 were just running around (human soldier and I don't remember what the other was).
I didn't have a problem myself obviously since It was on reactor so didn't feel any kind of issue, but the guys right down there near the ammo + 2 pillar things (that's where they usually held out if it got too much), didn't seem to have that many issues either, staggered/stunned a few times yeah, but then before they went down me or my buddy threw in a grenade.
So I still have to do the vid.
I have one question. How long did this game take?
Hmm I can't say for sure, I guess somewhere between 22-30 minutes.
Did 9 matches in total with them since we got along pretty well, extracted on all of them and enjoyed it.
But there's more: on Reactor 3 extractions: 2 Bronze, 1 Silver, 0 Gold... Too bad there's no vid, the Bioware N7Hq must be glitching.
LOL! Silly me... I took him at his word.
So... he played a game of silver on reactor as a demolisher w/ destroyer backup and said stunlock wasn't a problem?
i chose not to say a word.....
It appears you people also have problems with memory and counting.
First of all I said I'd do gold so I did.
Mr darkpassenger2342 was kind enough to check earlier that I only had 1 gold extraction since retalation and the N7 HQ, as you can see in my challenges which shows stats properly, it changed from 1 to 10 (Under the squad elite challenge) this indeed indicates that there was a increase of 9.
Also because of Sirian's memory problems I'll say it again:
Me and the destroyer weren't the only 2 players and the other 2 were a human soldier and I guess the 4th was the ex-cerberus adept but I'm not sure about that one.
You guys might act all-knowing and thinking that you are awesome, but all you do when someone tells you wrong is try to laugh/joke it away.

Taking damage is fine as long as you don't die. And to avoid dying you need to be able to move, shoot, cast powers and so on. Stunlocks deny you to do anything.
You CANNOT avoid stunlocks unless you play like a worthless coward and hide behind cover all the time, or use equally cheap "(anti) stunlock tactics" against the Geth.
An enemy faction that limits your options to only a few (which are, IMO, incredibly dull and boring ones) is terrible design for a game with such a wide variety of characters, powers, weapons and playstyles.

This is the thrust of the anti-stunlock argument. Some people want to rambo all the time, and the geth punish them for it. Using soft cover and playing with a degree of caution is not being a "worthless coward". I have no issues with an enemy faction that can't be played in exactly the same ways as the others.

I saw 5 extractions (full 10 waves, to be preciase) 2 to 3 hours after darkpassenger2342's post using N7HQ, Map Mastery challenge (waves extracted actually on all maps). My own eyes a witness, as you say. Now as I write this I see the following wave balance on Gold:
Ghost 10
White 10
Giant 10
Reactor 0 (hello)
Condor 10
Hydra 10
Jade 10
Vancouver 10
-----
Total 70 waves, or 7 full games.
However, as we all know extraction waves (#11 that would be) don't count for total number of waves. So if you join on extraction you can get +1 extraction for free. So either N7HQ wavecounter is broken, or you're a liar and an idiot for not checking this easy-to-bust-you point.

Prime and hunter gun as well as bomber shock is not a stunlock because you can walk and shoot if you have rounds in the clip. If your ping isn't awful you can even use a power.
Stunlock only exists if you was hit by a drone and prime's gun immediately after drone's stun. But drone can be killed easily and have a cooldown now. Drone also have a very predictable refire time and can be avoided by a quick use of soft cover

I know, neither do I. And I know you're a very good player, better than me. So why do you have a huge issue with stunlocks, and I find them as annoying (on par) as with sync kills? I don't understand.
Maybe we should play together, see how differently we approach geth.

I don't know why you find them less annoying than I do. Perhaps you have a greater tolerance for not being allowed to move. Perhaps it's the fact that I lag quite a lot (and thus every stun effect is amplified). But even on-host Geth are BS in my opinion.
Feel free to send me a FR on Origin... I'm usually up for some games.

I played a few game last night with friends I was not the host which is odd for me, anyway we get geth and I could swear that troopers where stunning me.
Also have noticed that when I play geth the prime shots are timed so that they appear to ignore have a shield health gate.
The last thing that I find annoying is lately I have noticed trooper classes(all factions) will have 2 or 3 camping somewhere behind cover and when you walk by them without seeing them they pop from cover and mimic you movements from behind so well you can not get them off your back, I have been downed several times like this and then I see the trooper walking over my dead body, I thought this was just me until I was watching it happen to my teammates.

I read the thread fine.. my retort the combat drone is that nearly any weapon/power can take it out instantly. I said that I find it annoying in my first post, but that I didn't find "a fourth of the game to be broken" because of it's introduction to the faction.
I was just trying to explain to the person above that stunlock is avoidable.

Like Lord_Sirian already said, most people don't want to go rambo all the time. However, there are quite a lot of characters and weapons that are at their best at (very) close range. To design enemies who make all of em close to useless is stupid (and I'm being polite here
Primes and Rocket Troopers have perfect aim and can shoot you before you even look around a corner. They can do these thing from across the map (well beyond the range of powers and some weapons). A diverse selection of enemy factions is one thing, but to limit your options to a select few is quite another and that's what the Geth do.

Well, my ping is around 10 ms which is pretty good, no?
Primes and Hunters will interrupt everything you do (or are doing). I can't use a weapon such as the Claymore b/c their attacks cancel reloading. It's very annoying to reload your weapon 4 times before being able to fire another shot. Casting is also interrupted. It doesn't matter whether you press and hold the button, bash it or try to time it. More often than not your character does not do what you've ordered him / her / it to do.
ME3 has fast paced combat. Good reflexes and timing are critical to play well, but the sheer amount of stunlocks / interrupts of the Geth make both aspects almost redundant. When I fight the other factions (who also use the occasional stunlock) I know when I'm doing well. When I'm fighting Geth I always feel chance and dumb luck have a much bigger impact on success than skill. I don't like that at all.
Stunlock only exists if you was hit by a drone and prime's gun immediately after drone's stun. But drone can be killed easily and have a cooldown now. Drone also have a very predictable refire time and can be avoided by a quick use of soft cover.
Well, maybe my version of ME3 is different than yours, but I've had plenty of encounters with Primes, Rocket Troopers and Hunters that made my character completely useless. They couldn't shoot, cast, doge, move or use an ops pack. They just stood there and died despite my frantic attempts to make them follow my commands.
