I dunno. As I said in the other thread, I haven't had any problems with the prime's drone, but I think that has a lot to do with what kits we play. I think a more useful thread would be to determine who has issues with the geth, and what kits they use. There may be some correlation here; Stagger-resistance being the obvious card, but there may be more to it than even that.
And, no, I don't think ability to play has anything to do with this. I really do think it's more what you play.

I can already tell you that the majority of people who have issues with the Geth are the ones playing characters who don't have stagger resistance, and especially the ones playing original Turians who also can't dodge in addition to no stagger resistance. We don't really need a thread about it.
However just because I have a character that is immune to it doesn't mean it's fine. I would still enjoy playing a non Krogan/Batarian/N7 Destroyer against the Geth.

So if you get staggered once, you can't get staggered again for another 1.5 second.
That way, staggers remain a thing, but they aren't so f*cking infuriating and cheap.
Players can only stagger enemies once every so often, the enemy stagger animation needs to complete before the enemy can be staggered again; players can be staggered multiple times in quick succession by different (or the same) enemies and are left completely helpless.

That actually strikes me as a good idea. You should create a new thread with it, since Bioware may be avoiding this one due to all the ranting (I know it'd drag me down). I say this because that's a constructive solution that sounds like it could work. And that's what we need, really; Clever solutions.

Why did the incinerate get a stagger (which the geth are loaded with) instead of a burn effect, which the geth lack totally. Its like the atlas got the present for the geth, geth got the atlas gift.
Lets face it, cerberus having a warp type effect is infuriating. Geth having another stupid stagger is trolling. Swap them over, it would be a more interesting and balanced, less annoying arrangement.
Won't make them easier either, its the same mechanics, only distributed in a much less idiotic way.
