With the recent news about Lucas selling his various properties (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, LucasArts) to Disney, I can't help but wonder what this will mean for the future of Star Wars in general, but more specifically with licenses like Knights of the Old Republic?
Sure, there's TOR, but why does that mean we can't have any single player games? Fans are crying out for a next gen KOTOR. I for one have been since before the XBox 360 came out.
I'm not holding my breath, but I'm hoping there will be some changes made at LucasArts. They used to be a really great company. Now the best games they release are Lego games, and while those are fun, they aren't a patch on a good, solid RPG!
I wonder what the Disney purchase of Lucas' intellectual property will mean for the future?

Kingdom Hearts will now contain Star Wars characters? Epic Mickey 3 will include Jedi training? Hoefully we'll get a remake of KotOR or at least get a digital download.

Just noticed a new comic series being promoted by TFAW. Dark Horse is advertising it as a return to the Star Wars we all know & love, & looks like Brian Wood is attached. Might give the first clue on how things are heading.
