can you create an item like, say, a weapon, and put it in the inventory of a weapon rack, and put it on a map, and have it be there when you play the campaign?

You absolutely can! Check out the toolset wiki, youtube and the Beyond Ferelden blog for some tutorials, you should be able to piece it together.

cool! i made a sword in the toolset, put it in a weapons rack placeable, but i cant figure out how to find some of the in game maps to place it, like somewhere in the Ostegar area for example. can you tell me how that is achieved?
