Does anyone else think the model for this looks a bit... rubbish?

All the other new mods look the part, but the SR HVB just looks so tacky and out of place on any gun to my eyes. Which is a shame, because it's pretty much standard on all my sniper builds now

I agree it does look pretty damn bad especially on the Black Widow haha. If they just used a slightly modified version of the Extended Barrel Mod it wouldn't look too bad...

SR HVB = badass. The Carnards like design make it look like a jet frozen midflight and just underline the power of The Anti material Rifles like Black Widow or Javelin. Javelin + HVB = Awesome!

Aesthetics are secondary to performance in my book.

The thing could look like a Cannibal turd as long as stuff dies when I shoot it and I'm fine.

You think the SR HVB looks bad? What about the AR HVB? Feck ugly, that's how I'd describe it.

It's the Flounder Barrel.  Best used on the Assault Tuna.

Looks great on the BW, imo. Works great too, which is more important.

At least sniper rifles look sort of decent with mods. I've yet to see any pistol in this game that doesn't look ridiculous with mods. Especially the pistol scope and extended barrel just look silly. The Scorpion is probably the worst, its aesthetics are just so completely different from the mods that any visible mod looks stupid on it.

Good thing most people only use that barrel on pea-shooter ARs anyway.


But, on topic, the sniper HVB doesn't look as bad on a valiant, but I'd still rather see an extended barrel model of sorts. I miss the silencer look that one of the earlier levels of the EB had.

Well the new heavy barrel looks good on just almost every heavy pistol.

It really looks a little off when equipped to the talon because it hangs off the barrel that leaves the body of the gun. Especially weird considering it's a shotgun-pistol.
