I"ve been playing around with building a level and I was doing some landscaping when I noticed a chunk it would not properly flatten like I wanted it too. On closer inspection, the grid lines seem to be all messed up.
I'm not sure what the technical term for it is. Instead of the grid making nice little triangles, they seem to be really messed up. The plateau tool just doesn't function on it and there this weird pothole on my map. On another portion of my map where it's completely flat, the grid is also very odd looking.
I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem and how it can be fixed?
Grid corruption?

Try the smooth tool and it should pop the lower weird area back up with the rest of the terrain.
If that does not work (it takes time to hit it just right, but it works every time for me now) you have to lower the surrounding area and rebuild it all back up.

Hey Georage,
I was able to fix the problem like you said by using the smoothing tool. I thought I had tried it before I made my original post. Restarting the toolset might've helped too. (And just to note, trying to raise and lower the surrounding area didn't seem to work, at least not for me.)
