I really do hope we will be allowed to keep a simple friendship with potential LI's of either gender in thisgame, and still be able to get at least nearly as far in terms of their personal questline/story and character development.

I'll use Jack from ME as an example why not doing so is a bad idea. Seriously, a female PC is not allowed to really connect with her emotionally or try to help her with her problems ever. And the only way a male PC can do it, is to literally sex it out of her.

What the hell, Bioware. That's pretty darn nauseating. And offensive.

"PTSD, huh? My penis is exactly what you need!" Yeah. Riiiiiight.

Point is, plationic relationships can affect a person just as much as an intimate one can. A real, true friend is just as great of a gem as any lover. We should be allowed to connect with our companions emotionally, support them and try to help them deal with their issues, AND just stay friends.

Kind of like a female PC in DAO sort of could with Morrigan. That was cool. Two dark, cold, selfish girls = best friends forever.

Keep doing that. Just like that.

I'd strongly, -strongly- recommend against suggesting that a dev be 'slapped in the mouth'.
