I never thought female Turians would have breasts, and frankly it doesn't make sense to me, but whatever. If those "funny bumps" are supposed to be breasts chances are they are there simply to make her look more feminine.

BW hasn't been too good at keeping to rules they set for their own universe as of late, and we are never going to get an explanation.

I never thought I'd see people upset about complaining about pointless sexualization of a character when it makes no sense whatsoever.

Calling that barely existing hint of a chest on a female character a "pointless sexualization" makes no sense either. It's not like she's page 3 worthy, and it's not like there are books about turian anatomy either... I had to stare at her pic to even understand what you guys were complaining about. Frankly, Sidonis had a bigger chest.

That kind of overreaction makes you (well, not you, people upset about it in general) look more obsessed about boobs than most "horny guys" who hadn't even noticed she had boobs.

If BW thinks that making her slightly more feminine helps the audience identifying her as a female, what's the big deal ?

Breast shaped chest. Hood to give the appearance of hair. I can see how it's not obvious to everyone but those are conscious design choices to give her more stereotypically feminine look. Just like it was a conscious design choice to give Ashley "more sex appeal". I am really unimpressed with this original approach to character design

Someone already mentioned this in another thread (can't remember who) but it's an excellent reason why Turians shouldn't have boobs. Their mouths are not designed to nurse, okay?
