Eve is a Male in a Burka though.

Yes, but we are discussing Nyreen here and the fact that she isn't just a male in the Burka clearly means that Bioware listened to our feedback on the way Krogan/Salarian females were presented. I'm glad.

If Nyreen is 50-100% Paragon -> I support her always, even at the cost of Aria's life.

And I DO like Aria as a character... so choice between renegade-for-life Aria and renegade Nyreen would be difficult for me.

Nyreen clearly isn't a male in a burka, like the other female aliens. Her model seem to be a mix of Kasumi and a female Quarian, just with some tweaks. Not really a surprise, since all the alien models in the series, are just reworked human models.

1. The female turian is not even confirmed to have breast or not, unless someone shows a different photo of her besides the one of her firing her gun and can show her with ******, it can't even be confirmed.

2. Breast could easily be a biological leftover from their early stage of development before the metallic carapace formed on them through years of evolution. Same reason we humans still have non-functional pheromone detecting glands called vomeronasal organs, plantarus muscles, erector pili, male nipples, and the third eye lid.

If your idea of a good female is a wooden board, there is something wrong with you.

If your idea of a woman is BOOBS BOOBS BOOBS BOOBS BOOBS then you're ****ing shallow.

Selective reading much? You're obviously looking at the wrong images.

Still can't see the big deal with the ******.

Then again, ME3's crap-tastic ending lowered my standard so much that things like this aren't phasing me anymore.

What do you have against breasts?

Edit: Yup, those are boobs alright. Not sure why people are opposed to this idea and not the ridiculous universe breaking contrivances introduced all throughout ME2 and ME3 (lol thermal clips, lol human Reaper, lol  synthetics vs organics).

I honestly don't care. I've always wanted a femturian in the game, and with or without the boobs, I would hit that with the force of Commander Shepard.

****** don't belong on everything, and Turians are not mamalian.

Turian bodies are plated, yes? For what reason again? Oh yeah the fact the composition of Palavens core makes it vulnerable to the radiation of the planets sun, hence why they've evolved to adapt. Now if we apply the mammary standard to Turians, you would have exposed soft tissue that is being bombarded with the radiation the rest of their bodies has built up a defence for, and you're feeding it to your child. Not only is it logically wrong, its ethically wrong.

Another is the fact, FACT, that they're mouths aren't built for suction, so suckling is entirely impossible making the whole existance of breasts redundant simply because they can't. They simply can't.

The issue is that instead of putting some thought and effort into her creation, they've stuck boobs and lipstick on her even though they KNEW that wasn't an acceptable design choice (re: Creating Garrus vidoc). They've gone for the cheapest way to a shallow mans pants. This is why they made the Asari as they are, but now they've gone and ruined another aspect of Mass Effect for cheap thrills.

It may come as a surprise, but not all men get all drooly at the sight of boobs.

People are opposed to all of that. Many are opposed to this since they got our hopes up with the femturian, only to dash them by making it blantently obvious that they're trying to appeal to horny 12 year olds who want to bone anything with a vagina. Not to mention that her design is far far too human to be alien.

Its pathetic.

I see the standard human visualization of an upright bipedal creature. Also, boobs.

look at what 343i did to cortana in halo 4 and come back to me about complaining about boobs.

She's always had boobs though.

Indeed. In fact if thats what you focused on you may have missed the part where her ragged form shows the effect of her rampancy.

343i treated her with the respect she deserved, and they pulled it off.

Not to mention that the devs always intended to make her projection sexy like that. But hell, I'm not complaining. I think her design besides the ****** is enjoyable to look at, with all the codes running running through her body and stuff.

Now, I have yet to play Halo 4 so I can't say for sure about that, but isn't she a disembodied voice for most part of the games?

So what do us plebeian fools (fans) do now? Make a place for it on Bioware's (very) long list of recent failures?

Seeing these pictures...they seem out of place, yeah. Not a big deal though, the mere presence of breasts as being sexualization, is too exaggerated.

I wouldn't call it a failure as much as having a lack of respect for their own creation.  Which I guess is entirely their right, as the creators.

You are correct, its not a big deal, and the reaction is definitely exaggerated.  But, as you also noticed, this probably wasn't the best call by BW.

Geez. So bloody immature, getting all exaggerated over one unexplained detail. So she got breasts, so frickin' what? Get over it, already.

I wish this stupid thread to get put down, already.

Exactly and no surprise really, I bet a Dev will comment and just say it's and outershell or some form of plating, that happens to look like breasts, rofl.

Like how "Asari aren't female" when they're covering their ass over no M/M romance.

The books expand her significance, and she appears a lot more often in H4, along with the Chief talking A LOT more than in previous games.

The Chief/Cortana relationship is actually quite fascinating, and once you begin to understand that, the subtle nuances in H2/3 and Reach become a lot more significant and powerful.
