At least those tattoos represent something, I can't say much for the other two... haha.

Now, I have yet to play Halo 4 so I can't say for sure about that, but isn't she a disembodied voice for most part of the games?
Nope. She appears quite often.
Especially during that one scene I thought was the best in the whole game, but won't talk about, since it'd be a massive spoiler.
But enough about the game with a far better ending, we're here to talk about ****** and how so many jimmies are rustled because of something so...superficial.

Those feels mayn, those feels. BioWare should get 343 to do their story, since Halo 4's end is a masterclass in "How to do a bittersweet ending".

She looks male to me, like someone with a thin waist and no boobs, just a widerr chest than her waist. That's the impression I get from looking at the image posted her.

You just had to spoil it didn't you? I only got past the third part of the campaign, now I know how this is gonna end.
Oh well, still a great game. Enjoying the journey a lot, so the destination won't bother me much at all.

Then again, Halo 4 was in the works since before ME2 was released. They also had some of the designers from the team behind the Metroid Prime games, which more than likely gave the team a sense of modesty and made them not think that everything they touch and work on automatically turns into a masterpiece.
If there's one really important quality they have that I liked, it is that they kept to the lore and didn't just make crap up as they went along. Hell, the very first cutscene is filled with references to other parts of the Halo universe, which was a great way to tie it all together.
But I digress.
Turians are also aliens, which doesn't mean that they have to strictly follow our biological system as we know it. Maybe the babies starts to develop the mandibles and other parts of their jaws at a certain age (I'd imagine that having those sharp things fully developed in the womb would hurt like hell) and until then have to be breast fed.
Besides, if they weren't able to seal that part of their mouths, it'd be really awkward for them to drink any kind of liquid, since it'd just drip out the sides all the time. They'd die of thirst if the only source of water or whatever they drink was from a pond and they could only use their hands, since they'd have to suck that up.
Or something. Sue me if I'm wrong.
And if you look at that turian general (his name escapes me at the moment) in ME1 when he says that he'll have a drink or two before quitting, you can see that he's sort of pouting or at least is able to move that part of his mouth, so their "lip" movements aren't that restricted either.

Are there actually any pictures of Nyreen we can see so we can judge on the apparent boobs?
Someone uploaded two pictures that showed that she didn't actually have boobs, but rather a strange thing where her chest is wider than her waist but still flat. It was posted a page back along with a shot of her from a slight angle that makes it appear she has boobs, but the poster removed the other picture that showed her from the front and not the side for some odd reason.

You don't seem to care if the design team just does whatever the Hell they want with the Mass Effect Universe, everything would just be peachy to you if they just threw everything previously-hinted, stated, and established out the window all for the sake of making things 'appealing' to some dimwits, regardless of how stupid and/or contradictory it would be in-Universe. You're apathetic at best, and accomplice iconoclasts at worst.
If the more recent images and videos showed that she didn't have breasts, this would have been fine. Everyone would have went "So this is what a Turian woman looks like. It's been confirmed in-game. Okay, cool." Nobody would have noted the lack of breasts, because that wouldn't be at all questionable. This, however, is clearly questionable.
Also, about Miranda, EDI, and Cortana, Miranda is a Human being, EDI is an Android built by the pro-Human Cerberus, and Cortana is an AI created by the UNSC, who are solely Human. Miranda has skimpy taste in clothing, and the latter two are obviously Human-esque because their in-Universe creators intended for it. They probably wouldn't make them fat or unnatractive or whatever. You can't compare them to or use them in argument for the meaningless anthropomorphic sexualisation of Turian women, or any other blatantly non-Human species.

There is absolutely no avenue by which you can justify the use of breasts on a species such as the Turian.
They can't fully close their mouths, they cannot create suction, therefore the ability to breastfeed a Turian infant is impossible due to the physical mechanics of the action. Their biology dictates this, and putting boobs on a Turian just goes to show how little they care anymore.
Anyone else remember that "Creating Garrus" vid where they said "what would we do, put boobs on them"? Seriously they KNEW thats not how it would work, then they went and did it anyway.
Like Extended Crap evacuation, and a lot more from ME3.

But she does not have boobs, her upper chest is wider, no bulbops, WIDER than her waist. This is not boobs, this is turian ribcage physiology at play. She was a wider chest than her waist, which than flare out into the usual turian pelvis strucutre.
The robes she's wearing, the lapels of them, cross at an area that, from the sides or diaganol angles, form shadows that look like boobs, but without the shadows there nothing there. She is flat, she has no visible boobs, you are complaining about an optical illusion from the camera angles you looking at her with.
I'll prove it, with screencaptures from the omega preview on youtube.

Now I don't see any boobs, how about you guys? Do you see any boobs?

Even from this angle, completly flat, no boobs at all.
It's a trick with the shadows of her shoulders and clothing, nothing ****ing more.

I'm a fourteen year old and I don't care about the sexuality they place in the characters. I think it was mostly just to create a visual division between male and female turians. Adding breasts just made it simpler to do so.AdmiralCheez wrote...

But Bioware has planned out everything they do since Mass Effect 1!!! They're flawless geniuses who do pay attention to and remember things they write!!! This is clearly just the first step in Shepard realizing all of Mass Effect 3 is an indoctrinated dream, because Bioware couldn't possibly have plot holes or poor writing!!!
