Seems to me that Bioware embraces sexuality plenty as it is. I know of no other game company that even allows players to express homosexual desires through their characters, let alone act out a homosexual relationship.
I'd rather they didn't show nudity, personally, but my concerns are practical, not moral.
Firstly, sex is difficult to animate. The developers struggle to create convincing kissing as it is.
Secondly, the country I live in doesn't provide an R-rating for videogames. Anything that doesn't qualify for MA is simply refused classification and not sold here. So if being "prudish" means I'll actually get to play Dragon Age III, then Bioware should be as prudish as necessary.
There have been many games that allow homosexual relationships. Bioware does that too which is good but I didnt really mean that. What I meant is that they shouldnt think of nudity as something to be frowned upon or feared which seems to be the case rather often.

This I agree with. If sex isnt convincing it breaks immersion. But nudity can be animated without being cheesy. I recall the witcher 2 doing it somewhat well. Being sensual is important, not what moves you show. If biowares current animators arent up to the job they either need to improve or be replaced.

This is unfortunate for you and I'm sorry your government is retardedly prudish and controlling but its only restrictive to a small part of the players. I dont like getting an inferior product due to retarded censorship. Also that means that you either live in germany or australia and in both cases I'm sure there are means to buy or order the game from abroad. Possession isnt illegal as far as I know. Even if it is you shouldnt be afraid of breaking a bad law. If its entirely impossible for you to buy a banned game im sure theres a certain way that your government has no control over. Its acceptable in that situation.

I have no problem with this as long as it isn't one sided. If they are going to show female privates onscreen, they
should do the same with male privates. I am so tired of still seeing the old double standard in this day and age. I'm not suggesting putting up a "Full Monty" onscreen, but there are at least some of us women out
there that enjoy viewing the male physique. All too often, I get bombarded with views of women's boobs, (which I could care less about), when all I really want to see is a guys bare butt.
Agree. Nothing wrong with full frontal btw if its done well but it shouldnt be one sided. Nor any other nudity for that matter. I cant think of a reason why a guy would be afraid of seeing the same parts they have themselves.
