 I'm getting really tired of playing ME2 now. My character is a Level 21 Soldier, and quite frankly it's become a chore doing side-mission after side-mission. I want to complete the game 100%, but even though I've done all the loyalty missions for every character (apart from the penultimate character who I believe I recruit on my next Mission), and scanned every system I've been too, there's still tons and tons of side-quests and systems I haven't scanned.

It's becoming very boring now, but I don't want to skip anything that might affect ME3.

Did anyone else have this problem? Is it because I chose Soldier as my class? I have a feeling I would  have preferred being an Infiltrator, but it's too late now *sob*

Any advice?

I never had this problem.

I actually like how in ME2...you don't need to really do any side missions to get to a respectable level.

The only side missions I do in my playthroughs are the ones that are within actual missions.

In my case i see some of those missions a little "empy", i do them because i wanna know all the story, but some of them seems a little pointless
i am curious, but im playing ME2 right now and i wonder, how many missions you did so far??

I ended up doing all the side-missions (including the ones from Cerebus, Kasumi, and the Shadow Broker DLC's). Most of them were repetitive and had little to no bearing on the overall story. It was quite tiresome. (Shadow Broker was fun, though!)
