Kiera Knightly wouldn't work. She doesn't do snide very well. And for Leliana, Alizee. Alizee. Alizee. Yes.

Why would you have anyone other than Claudia Black as Morrigan?!

Alistair - Chris Evans

Leliana - Audrey Tautou but Alyson Hannigan might work

Sten - Jeff Goldblum

Wynne - Helen Mirren

Zevran - Leonardo DiCaprio

Loghain - John Travolta

Duncan - Jeremy Irons

Flemeth - Kate Mulgrew (no question)

Arl Howe - Tim Curry, or possibly Alan Rickman

I guess that would make sense, at least if you were to make an acutual movie of Dragon Age.

Well considering James Purefoy was the model of the Warden, he is just an obvious choice for the role.

It'd be so EPIC.

EDIT: Oh yea and Alexandra "Alleykatze" Stein has to Leliana, just has to. Granted they would need to take care of her tats.

Oghren - Philip Seymour Hoffman

Duncan - Djimon Hounsou

Alistar - Ryan Reynolds

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not Ryan Reynolds! Eugh...I know he's good enough for Scarlet Johanssen but...no...

I totally approve of Alyson Hannigan as Leliana...hmm...and Claudia Black as Morrigan! And Gerard Butler, amg, oh yes, as the warden. I'll have to think about who's cute enough for Alistair....

That said, I would totally watch a DA:O movie. I would also love a complete movie in the Urn of Sacred Ashes style, it's sooo prettily made!

Aliza Dushku(Faith from buffy the vampire slayer) as Lelliana, and the same guy who does the voice of Shale should do it in the movie also.(shale is ofc computer-animated).

And Ray Loitta as the first enchanter or as some darkspawn Emesairry

Just to note, the "guy" who did Shale's voice was named Geraldine Blecker. So, not so much a guy.

Duncan - Ben Kingsley w/ wig

Arl Eamon - Liam Neeson

Loghain - Jeremy Irons w/ long hair (?)

Arl Howe - Alan Rickman

Sten - Michael Dorn

Leliana - Marion Cotillard...No, she doesn't have the "perfect" Leliana look, but she's French, pretty, and she can act...she just needs a hair dye

Morrigan - Any attractive young actress who can come off as ****y, physical resemblance optional

The Warden - Sam Worthington...What's this? A movie where Sam can have hair and speak in his native accent?!?! *gasp-ers!*

Alistair: Somebody who is British, and sarcastic. Tempted to say Jude Law, but he is too old.

Morrigan would have to Claudia Black, no question. Although Claudia Black is older than Morrigan is portrayed, but I could defenitly get past that. The women is good looking, she can act really well, and... it's the original voice!

I actually rather like the idea of Ryan Reynolds as Alistair. Good appearance match, the voice would work and Ryan can defenitly do the cocky/whiny role.

Leliana - no idea. I don't really like Hannigan for it though /shrug

Anyway, those are my few short thoughts.

Actually, Kiera Knightly could do Leliana, quite well I would think.

In regards to Alizee for Leliana, can she even act? I think she can speak english, and certainly has the look, but I don't know if she can act.

Kierra knightly sucks at acting. Ryan Reynolds would be a good Alistair, and i don't think Liam Neeson should be Arl Eamon, but Duncan.

Okay....I will be nice to everyone. As much as I do love Alan Rickman...no one should take Arl Howl but the man who voiced him. Tim Curry. Some might say he is old or this or that...But Arl Howl is older and the nastiest of snakes as they come.

Okay...let me think for the rest of the cast

The Warden

Human Warden: I would say James Franco - I know some might not see it but I think if given the chance, he would do a good job.

Elven Warden: Orlando Bloom- We all know he can be a elf with long flowing locks lol.

Dwaven Warden: Warwick Davis. - He is an experianced avtor and I think he he would do a fine job

Alister: Okay, I don't know how popular a choice this would be but I am going to say Steve Zahn. He has the handsome look and has had a playful sense of humor. He proved his acting chops in Rescue Dawn and think he would do well.

Morrigan: Well, I don't think there is any discussion needed that I agree with the majority in saying Claudia Black should take the role. She has that amazing voice and looks just as beautiful and menacing to do a good job.

Leliana: Okay, I am going to say Kate Beckinsale. Before she was in the Underworld series, she tended to play more toned down characters and I think she would do well.

Oghren: okay, i think Verne Troyer would be a great choice. He is a great actor and can have that gruff sense of humor, I think.

Sten: I would have to say...Michael Clarke Duncun. He is a wonderful leading man but does quite well as a supporting actor as well

Wynne: On this one, I'll call Cate Blanchett. She may not be that old, obviously but she would do well for the spot, I think.

Zevran: I will have to say...Patrick Wilson. This may not be a popular pick but he has the charm and that smile and I think it would work well.

Flemeth: If you have to ask....look up Kate Mulgrew....yeah, no doubt

Loghain: This one, I would say Rufus Sewell. I think he is rather good at downplaying roles but does a wonderful job with the roles he is given. He tends to play well as villains as well.

Arl Emmon: I would have to say that Angus MacFadyen would do well to play the Arl. He is a great actor and tends to do well when playing a role involving some politics.

But, if there are going to make the movie, they should wait. Movies made right after video games never tend to go well.

What about Sam Worthington as Alistair?
He has the same kind of mad stubble going on :)

' man stubble' lol. It is true and he is a very strong and good actor but I don't know if he could play the comedic relief, of sorts.

Well, Luca, I completely agree with Brian Blessed, actually. As far as Kenneth Branagh...he was wonderful as Iago...I don't quite see him as Loghain but more as an Arl Howe.

Truth be told I have having trouble with Loghain, and so I scaled down the list of Large Hams on TVTropes, picked out Kenneth Branagh 'cause he's damn good and seemed to fit (at least, to me he did sorta).

Verne troyer would be a horrible Oghren. It is easy to decide that, listen to Oghren's voice acting, then listen to Verne Troyer's voice. Not even close.

Sam Worthington could be Alistair, but I would prefer him as the Male human noble, and Ryan Reynolds as Alistair.
