This is the error I get when I try to install any kind of mod, whether official DLC or fan made. Where can I get DAUpdater.xml, without having to reinstall my game and loose all my files?

I had the same problem. The DAUpdater.xml file for me was located under c:\\program files\\dragon age\\data. I was able to fix the problem by copying that file to c:\\program files\\dragon age\\bin_ship.



You need to launch the .dazip file from the same folder, or launch the DAUpdater.exe program and then use Select Files and browse to your .dazip files in order to use it from that point.

I have read MANY posts with everyone saying that they are getting the same error: "Cannot find "DAUpdater.xml" file. Please contact Tech Support." You are the ONLY person to actually answer the question, thanks...

okay, im still miles away, there is no bin_ship for me or ANYTHING you guys a mentioning, like the updater for example. im lost, and dont want to reinstall and loose my progress...

I had this problem as well, however, after searching around in my C drive I found out something that worked for me.

**Assuming you've already downloaded the Respec Mod, here are the steps**

1-Open up My Computer
2-Double click Local Disk (C:)
3-Double click Program Files
4-Locate and double click your Dragon Age folder
5-Double click on the Bin-ship folder
6-Double click the DAUpdater (will have a Dragon Age Icon)
7-Click on 'Select DAZIP's
8-Locate, Under "My Documents" in the drop down bar, your Downloads file and click on your Respec Mod
9-Click on it and hit 'Install Selected'

This worked for me. Hope it helps!

ah i have a different proplem i downloaded Download dragon age, origins DLC - Stone Prisoner + Warden's Keep ...

from a torrent and after downloading it i did extract here and dlc appeared to me and inside the dlc there is the dragon age file i opened it then i found ADDINS FILE AND SETTINGS FILE SO AFTER THAT I DID SELECT DAZIPS THEN I WENT TO THE FILE I DOWNLOAD BUT THERE WAS NOTHING TO MATCH THESE ITEMS WHAT SHOULD I DO PLS ANSWER ASAP

i already have the file in my bin ship but he says he just cant find it. is it broken? cuz it would souck if i have to install it again
