Concerning the Couslands, I've only ever done that origin as a male, so whenever I bring Dairren to bed, Fergus only congratulates me and that he'll make Diarren pay if he breaks my heart. You'd figure a gay affair might cause for some discretion, but not in Ferelden, apparently. :)

And lets not forget Alistair if he ends up as King with Anora, always in taverns where the 'refined ladies' are no doubt. Typical Theirin blood running through him and I bet they were all elves as well.

Actually that is the main reason he goes easy on the elves if he is King, so he can have all those elven women swooning over him :P

Hmm, that just gave me another reason for my female city elf finally stopping hating all human males. Still not going to have her make him hardened... well... not in the way the game means

So who else thinks Cailan's mistress was an elven mage/Orlesian asassin?

Since RtO mentions an "hidden political agenda", I'm all for it! ;)

I reckon Leliana was his mistress... :lol:j/k

Although, got to admit, that is a spooky thought if the stuff going on at Ostagar is some crazy Orlesian mage looking to resurrect Cailan to cause more trouble.

We could have a whole codex entry on this, Infidelity in Ferelden - Therin's Gone Wild.

I start to feel a little bit for Anora knowing all this though.

If you try to convince Anora and Alistair to marry, and you (female) are in a romance with him, she expresses she will not do it unless you can assure her there is nothing between you and Alistair.

No, she will accept it if you're going to stay, she just wants to know ahead of time.  She's hoping she and Alistair will fall in love, but accepts it if it won't happen.

I swear King Cailan was hitting on my female dwarf noble when he told her that he'd love to talk to her by the fire after the battle...

Damn Fereldan is one horny little country, like a giant rabbit farm. Half this stuff I never even saw mentioned in the game, I need to get enough playthrough going.

I know why she would have to marry Alistair but I just wouldn't do it. You already know he's, if romancing the Warden, was with her. Then to have them break up, you marry him, but he, if you harden him, keeps her as a mistress. It's too much of the same old same old. That's a lot of drama. It's like a drama couch.

@Amethyst - I'm sure there are some in the making. Just watch out for them. :D

Ohh, that brings up another question. If Anora cut Cailan off, and therefore there is no heir/ess, are there any royal half-bloods anywhere?

Oh the scandal. Oh the intrigue. Is Alistair's and/or Anora's reign threatened? The possibility of Alistair fathering children is iffy at best, so we could have some conniving going on there as well. The possibilities are endless.

Before Alistar became a grey warden, the Mother lady of the chantry would not let him go cause she was playing a game of 'touchy touchy, feely feely', of course Alistar would black out, and have no memories, but there are a hundred bastard children running around in the Chantry.

Those forbidden fruit? Not forbidden when the head of the chantry says go to it girl! :P

Hmm... I'd say it's quite possible that Cailan has some bastards running around. I mean, he IS flirty when you meet him as a female (at least he seems so to me).

It's no wonder Cailan/Anora had no heirs. After she found out about the first affair she probably cut him off, and he figured she was being an ice queen and so just went out... more.

Well that, or she was a cold fish to begin with...and she does strike me as a  cold fish to be honest.

True, true. I have felt that ever since I saw a clip where she swats Alistair's hand away - in public. Ouch (and I don't mean the physical pain)

Something tells me she probably doesn't even want kids. That would take the spotlight off her after all.

Anora probably can't even have kids I bet. She's a bitter woman like her father is bitter towards the whole Therin line.

Wait, doesnt it mention somewhere that Cailan had his little, erm, "trysts" early in his marriage but straightened out and remained faithful until his death? I really could swear I saw that somewhere... but i maybe wrong. or wishfully thinking. I kindof liked Cailan.

And technically there is an ending that can give Alisair a potential heir.......
