This is also why using a power amp IV instead, or an engineering kit V, can kill an Atlas armor.

I'm actually calling it quits on this thread.  It went way beyond where I intended it to go.  I never expected Fenechus to make a video or for the collection of psuedo anime porn videos that popped up.  I copied the Pedro approved formula for my number in the below quote:

You are right, the damage is supposedly back-loaded into the DOT.  But if I interpret the wall of numbers with vague explanations, the test he did was turn on flamer to light on fire, and watch DOT ticks.

I would like to calculate it out but it doesn't appear to match my in game experience yesterday against Gold Atlases.  Perhaps they were all Proxi Mined debuffed while I wasn't looking...  I will just skip HM since that isn't part of the argument.

Flamer 6 (damage): 0.9, 1.5x extra multiplier for armor
Fortification: 0.3
Networked AI: 0.4
Power Amp IV: 0.5

K=200*(1+.2+.3+.4+.3+.4+.5) = 620

Impact v armor= 3*(K/8)*1.5*1.5 = 523.125

DOT ticks = K/8*1.5*1.5 = 174.375

Total with 1 stack = 2266.875

If I did something like the expected 10 stack calculation, it would look like: 174.375*13*10 = 22668.75

Still missing some damage...

Do Atlases take the correct damage from Flamer?

Total comes to 26142.1875

-your calculations are correct ... 
-gold atlas armor is 23k 
-acolyte ignores shield gate & armor DR (the last acolyte shot in the video did most of its damage to armor)  (while acolyte overall DPS vs armor is low due to its low rof - its per shot damage vs armor is not negligible)
-while flamer stacks are not bugged to rise to astronomical levels as the incendiary ammo stacks - the stacking is not perfect *10 either .. My ten stack test got slightly higher than *10 calculated damage ...
