However, It seems that you don't know that acolyte shots have an innate damage penalty against armor.  IIRC they do half damage on armor.  Whatever was left over after the shields would have hit shield gate for 75% reduction, the remaining bit would then be reduced by an additional 50%.  Even on bronze, this is neglible damage with its reduced shieldgate.  While the half damage penalty isn't enough to make it completely neglible going through shield gate added by this would have made it insignificant damage.

Actually the acolyte has no penalty against armour. It also ignores shield gate. Bleedthrough damage is still insignificant though.

The engineering kit's bonus is additive, it boosts flamer damage by like 5%. If you can take an atlas down to 5% of its health with one cast it's effectively dead, or close enough to not be worth spending three threads deliberating it.

You wish. This is typical behavior from someone who just lost an argument.

First they create an irrelevant topic. Second they argue that point vehemently, usually with little proof to back up their side. Third they realize that they're wrong, but they've invested too much into the thread to let it go, so they... Fourth, claim that it was all an elaborate trolling, and that we're all dumb for falling for it.
