Probably the guy who felt the need to post multiple threads about it, and make a public callout when I was offline.

I hope you know you're going to be known as "that guy" from now on. And anything "intellectual" you have to say will more than likely be shrugged off/laughed at so you will have a very lonely rest of ME3 multiplayer experience.Ryan_H wrote...

Wow, this is up to 6 pages!! Definitely worth it!
And, no I don't know when you are online or offline. Another baseless claim by Ashen! I wonder if Fenechus will make a video attempting to prove me wrong!

I love it when this happens. OP gets ripped to shreds and his only defense is to pretend he was trolling the entire time. Marvelous.

Yes, this a return to yesterday's argument with Ashen and his Fan Boy club.
Claim by Ashen Earth:Link to quote: http://social.biowar...ndex/14858593/1Ashen Earth wrote...Even without Hunter Mode, it's possible to destroy an Atlas on Gold from full armor with Flamer in one cast using a power amplifier III.
So I'm inclined to say no.
Why Ashen's claim and submitted proof are not valid:
1. The numbers don't support it.
2. In game, it is nigh impossible to determine the precise point that an atlas loses it's shields.
a) It's impossible for Ashen to know the precise moment the shields were removed from the atlas he took down with his flamer. Thus its near impossible to test Ashen's claim as you would have to know the precise point to stop applying the non DOT damage used to take down the shields. Maybe someone on the PC side with specialized testing software could do this.
3. It's clear in the animated animated gif (included at bottom of this post) that Ashen used bursts from his flamer to take down the atlas' shields prior to getting the single cast flamer kill. It also appears that Ashen applied the flamer burst too long and damaged armor with the last burst duration prior to the single cast kill. Either way each individual stack from those shielded bursts persist for 5 seconds.
Thus the damage from the stacks applied by Ashen less than 5 seconds prior to the atlas losing its shields (an exact point Ashen could not know and a point he appears to have exceeded) persists to aid in the destruction of the atlas' armor thus invalidating Ashen's claim. NOTE: The stack damage carried over is not minor or negligible.
Thoughts/Notes:
1. First off let it be clear I'm not calling Ashen a liar. Its a matter of seen and unseen damage and a seperation point that can't be discerned without specialized software on the client side.
2. Several people have noted that Ashen is a good/great player. I am not arguing that (nor am I confirming that). And any DB fan boy statement pointing out Ashen's scoring ability as evidence as to why he is right I will ignore as its not relevant to this debate (my end) / argument (Ashen and his DB fan club's end).
