Gather around, friends, and listen again to the legend of Perses Firestarter!
There was once a krogan soldier named Perses. You may not know him, but I'll tell you anyway; he's a hero to pyromaniacs everywhere, a darling to women of all races and overall, just a damn good-looking krogan. It's said that Grunt, legendary tankborn berserker, once adopted a similar color scheme to Perses after meeting him on Tuchanka. Like a scaly, lumbering volcano looming in for the kill, he has been commended multiple times for valor, honor, heroism and damn good culinary.
Twas November 9th on the Alliance Calendar when Admiral Hackett announced Operation: Blast Furnace to all the N7 Squads out there, fighting the good fight. Alas, when Perses read the details of the operation, manly tears began shedding from his fiery eyes. He readied his Inferno Grenades and Carnage Launcher and leaped headlong into battle, ready to purify the galaxy of Reaper filth... one enemy at a time.
Perses' eagerness led him to the salarian homeworld of Sur'Kesh. Oh, how his molten heart longed to burn down the jungles of his enemy, but he digressed. With him, came one asari and two vorcha, both excellent pyromaniacs as they demonstrated on the shuttle when they lit the asari's cigarette. The enemy they faced, was the Geth. Perses was somewhat disappointing for metal was harder to burn than flesh... but that's never stopped him. He bombarded clusters with his fire grenades and launched Carnage to create beautiful fire explosions; enemies nearby caught on fire and the victims often exploded! Maybe a laugh roared from Perses when he ignited the flamethrowers of his fellow Vorcha. Even the Geth Bombers and Primes, for all their strength, could not withstand the fiery onslaught of the three ash warriors.. and through the fire and flames, did they roar! Oh, did they roar! It was a beautiful, heart-wrenching concordance of laughter, snarls, growls and explosions. And even when all the geth laid disabled at his feet, his heart burned for more.
The second mission led to the city of London. With two quarian engineers who favored the omni-tool power of Incinerate and a N7 Demolisher, did Perses find that the Geth sought vengeance in the darkness of London. So once more, Perses blazed a trail through the city streets, burninating all those who dared oppose him! Many a time did he denonate a Fire Explosion thanks to the quarian females and many a time did they save him from death. At the end of it all, Perses completed what he set out to do. Blistering infernos raged and legions of Reaper forces laid dead in their own ash, all thanks to Perses.
To this day, we acknowledge the krogan, the myth and the legend that is Perses Firestarter.
