Indeed I did notice.  In general I really liked Palmer...kinda what I always wanted my FemShep to be...I was a little disappointed in her short SP involvement, but I hope Spartan Ops continues to expand on her a bit.

Really you basically have to switch your brain off when playing Halo.

Most peoples thinking now, intead of catching up like everyone else they decide it's the games fault.
Stupid really.

Its never a good idea to jump into a game mid stream.  It had been a long while since I played or read anything Halo, so I spent about a week casually getting reaquinted.  Makes all the difference some times.

As for the game, it's good to see that some game developers still knows how to bring forth emotions in a way that doesn't feel contrived. 
Subtle, yet noticeable emotions in chief's case, which is even better.

yes spartan ops does exapand upon her but it is also nice to hear Jennifer Hale not growling

They might not have done the same with ME because it sells less than Halo does but if one thing that MS gets right it's giving their teams more time and money than other companys do.

Time / money still can't create an amazing game tho. It's still 90% about the team.
Luckily, they had both :-).

   Halo 4 is imo, the best of them all simply because of how it made me feel. And the gameplay was a lot more fun. Imo it was just superior to the others, but hey... I am entitled to my opinion ^^... * silently sits and await ****storm *

Most teams who know what they're doing can create fantastic games given the chance, if a team has time and money and they still F up, they shouldn't be making games.

the most important resource any dev team can have is TIME, EA has consistanty failed to understand this and that is why certain game series are going downhill.

no dont get me wrong it was a fine game, horribly unbalanced for an RTS but it wasnt made by bungie and the lore did suffer slightly. its certainly a fun game but i cant rate it good or bad since it doesnt really feel like halo.

Mass effect 3 was delayed however. Bioware are not infallible, I am just saying that the team is the most important asset. But yeah, time and money are of course important too. But it's still the talented people that makes the game.

it did to me...they had the best Sangheili design of any halo....AND some of the most inspired vehicle designs...some of them made it into halo 4

If we put Da Vinci in a room with a broken pencil and paper and gave him 5 minutes he wouldn't come out with a good product.
The modern day equivalent is EA.

I think ODST was a cash in. 4 hour campaign for full price(apparently same length as Omega), and some maps that already existed. This sums it up pretty nicely.

Theres 6 Halo games now not counting that RTS and the remake of the first. To me, they all look pretty much the same. Same weapons, same enemies. I think I just dont get em. At least with ME, everyone of them feels different to play.

Yeah but it's an great RTS for consoles and was set in the Halo universe, enough to pull anyone in I would say.
