I'm looking forward to the kit too, and yes, I know it isn't available yet. It just seems silly to have a forum where we can talk about nothing.

P.S. I think you need to look up "coin", as in coining a term, and then look up ripping off, as I'm pretty sure you can't coin something that's been ripped off.

It's the second game that I've bought in less than a weeks time that promises the ultimate of toolkits and which neither game could deliver upon release. (torchlight and now Dragons Age), the tool kit is actually more enjoyable to me than is any official campaign, as is most quality user supplied campaigns as they to me show more imagination and fun than does official campaigns that seem old and re-used.
Anyway, we sit and we wait, both here and over in that others games forums while whomever the power is that has control trys to put the polishing touch on the tools before issuing them.  I just hope they're not trying to polish a turd, because turds rarely shine.

The toolset is not a turd. In fact, during the builder event and the months that followed where we had access to the toolset, not once did I experience any crashes or serious problems. A few did experience issues during installation in finding the required database but they were solved quickly or solved in the next toolset build sent out to us.



If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on making sure the server or servers that will be handling the load are being ironed out. Know that when the toolset becomes available, it's going to be a frenzy around here.

I agree with the person who said I am sure they are working out the d/l capabilities. I am sure the toolset is ready for release. IMHO go enjoy the game while we wait on the toolset. IT is a fantastic game!

Are you really implying Blizzard doesn't make a living off of polishing other peoples ideas to a mirror sheen?

We'll probably see the toolset in a month or two. It doesn't even let you click the "Other Campaigns" button in game. I was really hoping that downloading player mods was going to be highly integrated into the system, but it looks like an after thought that will be patched later. Sucks, doesn't it?
