A simple "No, I'm not going to possess Morrigan" would suffice.

Well, things are a lot less interesting when both parties are guarenteed to be perfectly honest and come out and tell you their exact intentions.

A lot less bloody and fire scorched as well it would seem . . .

First: I suspect that Morrigan is entirely Dominated by Flemeth, even if Morrigan never got out-right possessed by her.

Second: Flemeth is quite willing to give the player the second tome, and I suspect that a part of it is what she openely says to Morrigan in the very prescence of the Wardens: THe Blight is a threat, even to her. Sure she may want the god-child, sure she may want to eventually possess Morrigan, but she also can't swear that the knowledge within that second grimoire won't ensure the Warden's sucess. My one time thru... Flemeth came across as wanting that child more than anything. Even Morrigan.

EDIT:  Back Ontopic:  (Noble Origin only) Having Fergus join for the last battle.

For me it's Gorim who wins hands down. His complete loyalty, his dry humour. How I'd have wanted to keep him as a companion. Meeting him again really added flavour to the game, as far as I'm concerned, especially if your Warden is female. I always choose insulting him, so he says his line "Forgive me, my lady, but I was never right for you", so every time I meet him, I will have a reminder of the Gorim romance. Best romance in the game :crying:

Nobody has mentioned him so far, but I really liked Tamlen. He tended towards rash, foolish actions, admittedly, but I also felt that he was all bashful and sweet. Kind of broke my poor daelish elf's heart, when she met him again...

Gorim - He will always be my man. That scene alone makes him the best.

Leske - If Gorim had not pledged his Dwarf love to me, I would have chosen Leske. It is so fun how he betrays you later.

Gorim, and Eleanor Cousland.

I liked Daveth too, even though he tried to pickpocket Duncan with no ranks in deft hands. -_-

The look you give her when she comes out in armor is priceless.

Gorim, definitely.

And Tamlen and Daveth were both good too.

Not Leske, he's a softie, he couldn't even 'perform' for my female dwarf commoner (in one of the dialogue choices) *grins evilly*.

Circle Mage.

That guy was the best.  I'd be like, "Hey!" and he'd be like, "The Tower is under attack!"  What a cad.  We were like this!

The mage origin is the canon one, so he does not exist.

But he was indeed a swell fellow.

Edit: on that note, I would like to bring up soldier. He was the strong silent type.

Where did you get that the mage origin was the cannon one?

Nobody mentioned Ser Otto from the elven alienage quest? That templar rocked and I was really upset when he died...

How can no one have mentioned Soris yet?! He's a cutie! And his rescue dialogue on the female City Elf origin is priceless.

"Um... hello..."

I love that guy!

But I do have to second the Gorim love here. He was a fantastic companion.

Gorim. And I haven't even finished the game as a dwarf noble.

"Gorim, is that man speaking to me?"

I vote for Circle Mage and Tower Guard in Ostigar. Flemeth should have saved them too.

Oh, and Daveth.

Gorim and Shianni. Gorim for just sheer awesome. As for Shianni, Shianni wields a mean bottle.

Gorim wins, obviously, but I'm going to throw some support behind Lily.

She was the one with the escape plan for Jowan. She was the one I was actually helping escape - Jowan was just collateral.

Elanoor Cousland! I mean common, how many chances in an RPG do you get to take your mom along to kick some serious ass?

This. Moments to bond with your parents are so scarce these days. Too bad it was short-lived.
