What effective build do you suggest for Batarian Brawler?
Personally I don't think investing a lot of points in lash is a good idea but that's just my opionion.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks for your assistance.

Charge - area stagger, weapons synergy, 100% barrier
blade armor - melee, recharge, power recharge
Fitness - all melee
Racial passive - power damage and weapon capacity,
Charge, melee and profit!!!

Biotic Charge: Radius evolution (just to give me some space when I charge in), weapon synergy, barrier recharge
Blade Armor: Protection, Melee Damage Returned, Protection
class: Power Damage, Power Damage, Weapon Damage
Fitness: Melee, Martial, Melee
That's around 1050/1050 or so shields, health.. good enough for charging in and mowing enemies with melee combos.
Weapon-wise, I use the Disciple. Good weight, damage. But most of all, slap on the Shredder mod (for pesky guardian shields and general armor in-your-face wrecking), and the Shotgun Omniblade/Bayonet (which ever you have. I prefer the omniblade)
Usually, it's charge in, usually the weaker ones, then heavy melee leading to the kill. Which in turn gives you the damage boost. Then whack around, charge, repeat.

Lash - skipped
BA - melee dmg., dmg. returned, power recharge
Bat. Enforcer - Dmg&capacity, Power dmg., Snipers&shotguns
Fitness - All melee
Works for me. I use him with the Raider + shredder mod and blade attachment. Also Berserker Package, or Juggernaut Shields, whichever you prefer. It's a great class.

You should go Force & Damage for Rank 4 Charge, unless you're willing to use gear\\consumables to get >1000N of force.
Why do we need 1000N? Thats the threshold to stagger Phantoms on Gold and Platinum.

That build does 1056.25 N.

Holy smokes batman, you're right!
Charge base force was buffed from 600 to 650 and thats was enough to increae force to >1000N.
I should probably inform Lord Narida.

I stagger gold phantoms no problem w/that build, and area BC gives me a bit of a breathing space if i'm charging into a group of mooks.Mozts wrote...

For once xcals actually doing it wrong - hold F (heavy melee) while in the charge and youll get uninterupted DR, see how hes out of charge, then Heavy Meleeing? Not optimal, it shopuld be one, continuous move.

Then I decided to follow the suggestions many of you posted and I maxed melee in fitness.
The results are very promising. This character is giving me a lot of fun. I only tested him on Silver because I'm trying to complete several weapon challanges and there are several weapons I don't like to use on Gold.
The charatcer is not very "tanky" but charge, heavy melee plus weapon shot and/or melee again (heavy or standard) served me well in the matches I played.
Batarian Brawler is the second vanguard I enjoy; the first being obviously Krogan Battlemaster
