It´s just another sign that the world as created in ME1 is gone for good.

Yes.... Its very sad, they just dont seem able to create that world that enraptured and fascinated me so much.. I just cry FOUL at almost everything they do... Maybe I should just try to be apathic to it all, but its damn hard.

About time. The lack of female Turians in Mass Effect 1 was kind of tragic.

You're right, and if this was the first time Bioware had done this, I wouldn't be so miffed. But after seeing Edi's new body (with new and improved camel-toe), Tali's stock photo face, Legion and Edi's cliched pinochio stories, the forced emotional connection with a nameless kid, the catalyst, the awful endings and now this... I'm really just getting burned out on Bioware's plummeting levels of creativity with this game, and how SO many people are just okay with it.

Maybe I'm the only one who thinks this, but I believe that the essence of good fantasy is it's ability to immerse its audience and suspend disbelief using a well thought out internal consistency and logic. ME1 and 2 were able to accomplish this with a few sour notes here and there, but man, this game just seems to have one blatantly bad "design choice" after another, after another =/

And believe me I want to love Mass Effect, I really do, but it gets harder and harder seeing things like this.

The thing that annoys me more is the general grievous mask she's wearing. It doesnt even look like its her skin.

Am I the only one bored of this debate?

The truth is there is no good answer, and lot of varieties of levels of somewhat dumb ones. From our real life Earth understanding of Biology, something Mass Effect tries to follow mostly, yes, it does seem nonsensical for Turian females to have "breasts." But... 1)They're aliens, so there could be scientific lore explanation that we have yet to learn. 2) It could just be the armor, dumb as that sounds. 3) Breast implants anyone? Maybe Turian females get implants (or hormone therapy, or gene splicing) to gain breasts as a way to attract Asari and Humans. Seriously, there is nothing to sugest that such cosmetic surgery, vanity, and the desire to be attractive is lacking in the ME universe, or for Turian females.

Any of the 3 would do for the canon. The real truth though.... BIOWARE LOVE BOOBS

EDIT: Actually it could be that Bioware insists that GAMERS LOVE BOOBS or that BOOBS SELL DLC

Look only to Asari, EDI, Miranda, and female Quarians for the evidence. BIOWARE LOVE BOOBS.

Yeah, I want nothing more than to love Mass Effect, but it just gets impossible when ME3 has just managed to make me facepalm so many times I should have a pretty bad concussion by now. I just miss that magic ME used to have... Like that conversation with Vigil in ME1, I was completely enraptured, asking everything I could ask of it, trying my best to piece things toghether. The whole galaxy fascinated me, and the asari was one of the few things that bothered me. But now I have this huge LIST of things that I just cant look past, that botheres me more than I can explain.

All I want is for bioware to just show me a tiny bit of that magic they used to have, instead they hand out starchilds faulty logic, unbearbly sad endings, unbearably STUPID endings, EDI's over-sexy body, SYNTETHIS, Legions clishe (albeit sad as all hells) death and now goddamn turian titts. I just cant take it anymore. They never fail to dissapoint. I havent been genuinely interested in Mass Effect since before ME3. And I wish that wasnt the case.

Maybe so, but the white part of her face looks like its just slapped on there like a mask, and the redness of the skin by her eyes just makes her look like grievous. Agree with me or not, its what im seeing :)

I doubt back in ME1 they would have put boobs on a species they described as avian. And if we are going to nickpit (sp?) things, they also forgot about the protective function of the crest, it´s not there just for show.

I really really wish I had avoided the forums. I had forgotten about the DLC coming, was fairly excited about it when I remembered, and now.. I dunno. As much fun as I'd make fun of the people I thought were overreacting post-DA2, I'd already decided against pre-ordering Bioware games post-ME3. If these are indeed breasts, it makes her design nearly as repulsive as the Asari species.

Actually, considering the Asari, I don't know why I had expected better from this company.

Look at that. Turian without armor. Male, of course, but the turian men and women don't differ much in appearance, other than the fringe.

Tell me, how in Lord Buddha's name does a pair of breasts make sense on one of those?

I find we're meant to find them more attractive with them.
Possible BioWare using boobs as a way to sell more DLC.

Hey, boobs sells, but I agree not in Mass Effect.

It looks like that because she has no fringe that covers the back of hear head like male Turians do.
I mean male turians got their whole head covered by this 'mask' so it's not that visible

Personally think it makes her look more alien, but still damn sexy and these 'boobs', hell yeah. Too bad no romance.

Ok.

How does Garrus **** Commander Shepard then?

I mean, technically only Ducks and Flamingos have a penis, while the rest have basically a prostate that elongates out of their cloaca.

So if we are going to question the logic of turians with boobs, we also need to question the logic of Garrus' reach.
