Has anyone used these visual effects?

Im trying to re-orient these portal visuals to always point the entrance towards the caster.
But they always seem to spawn pointing in the same Easterly direction.

I am spawning them as invisible objects, plot, and usable.
I then use SetFacingPoint  to try and set the placeable pointing a vector.
Doesnt have any effect though.

Any suggestions?

The vfx comes from the CEP2.3/2.4 VisualEffects.2da

same problem as with swinging blade and wall spike default visual effects

seems visual effects cannot be rotated at all - for your purpoise however you can convert the vfx into placeable (or actually i think that Ive seen this vfx as a placeable in original hakpack)

The VFX alignment is set in the 2da to either align with the ground or the object it's on, most times. Those ones don't look to be set to orient with either.

You might be able to change it in the 2da column to do what you want, but I haven't played around with that part of it enough to say for certain.

Totally off-topic and not of any help at all, but I love the character in the screenshot. =P The evard's coming off of his chest is pretty awesome. =P
