Bioware, could you please take a look at powers with screen modification?

Hell with the young generations, did you forget the concept of sacrifice for a better goal?
I will not sacrifice my eye sight for a goddamn stat bonus.

It is the same reason I will not use the Mattock or Hornet guns - because to use them effectively you have to mash the trigger the whole match and I don't want to fatigue my fingers that much to use them. If there are challenges that require using those guns - well I just won't get them.
I have sympathy for those who have the visual problem, but since its not a problem for everyone it probably won't get fixed. I will still buy more product from Bioware, as I do not see these things as deal-breakers.

HM does not affect everyone the same. I do not have problems with it, but I don't doubt that others really do have a physical problem with it. Just don't use the Geth.

Yeah, I personally just started using HM-less Geth builds instead. It's a shame because the HM+Fortification Soldier sounds good, but I still value my sight more than a stat boost.

I either only play one game at a time in Hunter mode, or I just play a Geth Engineer without it.
And it's not as easy to fix as the Mattock or Hornet, I can program a macro to auto fire those guns and avoid the finger problem entirely. There's nothing I can do about Hunter mode, even turning the brightness down doesn't stop it from affecting me.
It's the only video game I've ever played that does this to me. Seriously, I've been playing since Zork 1 and it's the only game that messes with my eyes.

Remember kids, the next horrible incident is just one careless second away.
Also I would really like to see the hunter mode redone. Actually it could be so simple. Leave the blue triangle in the middle, remove the rest, exspecially the filters that mode applies.

...I don't even think of it as a "disability". I think you guys just don't notice how the blur defocuses your eyes and essentially confuses them. It will most possibly cause great damage to those who only feel "eye strain" but think it's still okay to use it.
The guy I know needs glasses, therefore he has a seeing disability. That's how I connected it.

It's the blurry nature of it that I hate. I can get used to the overlay even though a bit more faint would be better. But the double coloured lines are awful. It's a terrible effect, like looking at a 3d picture without the glasses on!
This. If they'd turn down the brightness a tad, and remove the blur I'd be satisfied.

Bioware/EA doesn't care about your eye strain.
Why am I not surprised?
If it is a problem for a small percentage of the player base, are you still surprised that they won't spend what is not an insignificant amount of money to fix it?

Thanks. I'll try for for kindergarten next time.
Dismissing something that is real with an offhand comment such as 'first world problems' is even more petulant. Yet you seem fine with that since it appears to jibe with your thoughts on the matter.

Honestly don't even understand what aspect of it gives people headaches.
People are different. Some people can't hear anything, some people are colorblind, some people get headaches from video game colors.

After fifty plus pages of many saying it did bother them from the original thread I wouldn't say that is a small percentage. If statistics were projected for those that do not visit the forum to voice their opinion I'd venture a guess that is far more widespread than what the few detractors here are saying.
Doesn't matter though. Bioware will not fix this - ever. They may, however, take into account what has happened here for future games and consider it an option if it is recycled.

Naw, in this case I was just mocking the post's content. To be fair though, I should have used the plural as the first one wasn't too bright either. Guess the both of us had the same notion and we just tangled together

-It Brightens the screen(Stupid design there)
-It Blurs the screen a tiny bit(Moronic Design for an ability that enhances your vision supposedly)
-It puts useless symbols on the top left and right sides of your screen that can make finding objectives difficult.
The changes would be simple:
-Remove the brightness feature
-Removes the Blurring feature
=No headaches
Is that SO hard to do?
Either way, I understand your issue OP. I just got used to it, and I specced out of it completely on my Geth Engineer.
