Just wondering? Cuz my PS 3 got stolen until I get a new one for Christmas. I have not had a chance to play Dragon Age 2 or watch the Funimation movie Dawn of the Seeker. But I have played & beaten Origins and Awakening and my save files were on my old PS 3.
Anyway can't wait to play Inquisiton it's going to be a blast.
Also what does everyone think of Dragon Age 2? Is it better than Dragon Age Origins and Awakening?
Will this game be like Mass Effect series where you can download your Dragon Age saves into Inquision?

Origins is the way better game. When you really break down DA2's plot, quests, and characters it really is just garbage....Varric and The Arishok are exception though, man I love those characters

To answer the question...if your're unable to get your old PS3 back, then you won't be able to upload your save files to DA3. It's not the end of the world, as you can still pick a "preset" that determines what happened in the previous game.
I had fun with DA2, despite it's issues. I liked Varric, Aveline, the Arishok and a few others, and the combat was fun. Origins was easily the more polished and deeper game. Some people prefer Origins/Awakening, while others prefer DA2.

I liked DA II, sometimes better than DA: O in fact, but I doubt you'll hear the same opinion very often around here.
Anyway, unless you get your PS3 back you won't be able to import, no. They're changing engines though, so fingers crossed for some kind of save-file-builder in the game!

They've stated they're looking into ways to do the save-import without actually having to use actual import files, probably for folks who play the game on the PS4 and Xbox 720, as well as new players of course. Im sure for those who have save files they'll be able to use them, but they obviously anticipate a lot of people not being able to import, and if you can't they're working on having a way for you to import your decisions without the file itself. So yes, there will be importing, and no, if you lost your PS3 you probably arent going to be totally screwed. I'm sure we'll hear more about it later, but for now, all signs point to you not having to worry about anything.

I wouldn't call it rubbish. I enjoyed it, but found it rushed and a little underwhelming. It featured some things that really didn't work, like Button Awesome and the enemy wave system, and of course, everybody's favourite, RECYCLED ENVIRONMENTS.

DA2 would have been a great game if it was a stand-alone game, even if it had some obvious development shortcuts(ie reused maps).
However, its major flaw was that it was a followup to what I consider the best game ever created in DA:O. When you are coming from a game like DA:O you had these MASSIVE expectations that a sequel with what should have been an even larger budget could pull off.
For me, DA:O scored 100, and DA2 would probably score an 80. 80 is still a decent game, but I was expecting another 100 and so ended up somewhat disappointed.
I am sure they might release some kind of "comic" like they did with the Mass Effect series, so that people can easily make certain choices for import into the game.

DA2 was fun to me. But it is a different type of game. at this point you should be able to get it pretty cheap.
that stinks about your ps3 being stolen.
hey, if push comes to shove, you can always do another playthru of DAO and DAA, right?
