Is "female" normal for a girl in english O_O ? If i say "femelle" to a french girl, she will just kick my a*s.
Typically it's a pretty neutral word. As in "female gamers" or "female employees". Sometimes it fits better in terms of style and grammar.
Also, there's far more women playing this game than you'd ever realize. But, of course, there are no girls on the internet.
Off topic but I think /b/ would like to have a word with you.

All in all, though,,, I think Anderson said it best: "You did good, child. You did good."
We now return you to the previously scheduled infotainment on the subject of socially awkward gamers.

I was in a match with a girl who was flirting at me because she was bad and wanted to be carried. After the match I told her she was bad and should feel bad for assuming I'm a deprived sexually starved male and we kicked her.
Chivalry is dead.
If I play with girls, I try to make game as much fun for them as possible. i.e. reviving, doing objectives, letting them kill most enemies.
I'm gay so I was having none of it.
**** chivalry.

I've run into a couple females playing MP, and they've all generally been pretty cool. No crazy gender awkwardness or anything. It's really not a big deal. A player is a player, regardless of gender. Though I will say women who are baked tend to be funnier than guys who are baked, from my experiences in playing with both. >_>
And much like drunk people, unless you're in a simmilar state yourself, neither is really all that funny, and actually more likely to be annoying as all hell. And on that one, there definetely isn't a gender difference.

I play with Dragonracer frequently and she is cool as hell and also pretty dang good. I've actually bumped into more than a few female gamers on PS3. There are also quite a few females PS3ers who post on here.
Especially coming from you, who is pretty much one of the top PS3 players, IMHO.
Also, for the record, folks, yes, women do get asked if they are a woman or a young boy. It's sometimes hard to tell, it seems, especially if there's poor mic quality. Additionally, I do not find "girl" to be an offensive term. I'm 27, but would not feel like someone was insinuating I was a child if they said "girl" to me. *shrugs*

Men are men, women are men, and children are FBI agents. Guess that makes me an FBI agent. But on topic, yeah, there are quite a few.
@Tictac: as Kenadian said, it's more of a grammar thing. Saying woman gamer or girl employee just feels sour on my English fanatic tongue.

Two things people often don't realise is that Mass Effect has a very good age distribution and gender distribution.
I think that's mostly due to role-play ability, which most shooter and hybrid shooter games lack.

I heard a female on voice last night. UNfoirtunately, I walked into a game that already had three people in it, so I didn't know which one was her. Will I ever find my ME princess?
Yeah I've heard a few russian girls on ME3, mostly russian anyways.
The first one surprised me, then I was like, "why am I even surprised about this?"

I find high people funny, and I haven't smoked pot in a few years. I also am firmly convinced that when I'm drunk, I believe I'm VERY funny.Larg_Kellein wrote...

The worst ones are the bossy ones trying to get the team to do something dumb. Like for example, All take cover on the L cover at the bottom of FB Condor. No matter how much I protested it and pointed out the covers weakness. The entire team followed her down there anyways, and died. While I stayed nice and safe up top.
