I wonder if Shale will show up for DA3
is Shale the same golem from The Stolen Throne?

Yes she is. And it it possible she was around for the start of the rebelion.

I wouldn't mind. I love her. She hates birds as much as I do.

Yes. But it was back before Wilhelm's "accident", and she hadn't yet become aware at the time.
She was also in Asunder, so I have some hope that we'll see or at least hear about her in DA3.

Perhaps the pigeon population in Orlais will mysteriously plummet? I sense a side quest.devSin wrote...

She was still looking for a way to be a dwarf again.
Though she does not talk about it a lot , I think it's important to her.
Truth is I'm not sure I want Shale to be a lady dwarf again , she's just the coolest golem ever.
But I'm curious to see if the writers are gonna go along with her personal quest.
There's something pretty fascinating with magic , and being able to turn a living being into a statue or golem .
I think in Tevinter they have really old golems , those "things" must know a lot of history .
Now I'm picturing Fenris and Shale meeting each other (love at first sight , I suppose) and team up to free slaves and golems.

Shale should take up golf - to score a birdie, or better yet an albatross.whykikyouwhy wrote...

Loghain even mention his memories of her, or rather; a golem looking like her, from his time with Maric and Wilhelm during the rebellion.

You can't actually decapitate her in Dragon Age, so there's a chance that she only faints if you decides to betray her trust. I hope to see her again. Shale is one of the best characters from DAO for me.

That's a fact you can use for all the characters despite missing heads, it has already been stated that game animations in combat isn't a representative of a characters fate.

Why do people call Shale "she", it's a golem. It has no gender. If it did, everyone would ask Shale to be romancable. Xp Anyways, Shale was only mentioned in DA2, so it returning (at least for a side-quest) would be great.
