If a voiced protagonist is literally the making or breaking of whether you buy a game you probably at the very least have some mild form of autism.

If you make stupid comments mocking mentally challenged people just to make a point about game voicing, then you certainly have a very strong case of needing to sort your life out.

I guess this thread is meant to build upon hope by those who understand disappointment & therefore share similar experiences, ultimately encouraging one another to lead to hope. I'd strongly put my hope in BioWare in the past like many others. I feel robbed & empty after DA2 & ME3 as an end result. I want BioWare to succeed despite feeling conflicted of their posthumous indigence surrounding quality.

My feelings exactly, it just seems to have been all downhill since origins. I've been a huge Bioware fan since Baldur's Gate, and I want DA3 to be like origins where I put in hundreds of hours on multiple characters, but honestly the way things have been going the last few years I find it hard to get my hopes up. DA2 and ME3 were pretty much the end for my hopes of more solid rpg based games, instead of just a game with a few rpg elements. Everything now is all about presentation and flashiness, everything "mainstreamed" to maximize sales, and needs to have multiplayer, real strategy and depth come second. Forget a game that will kick your ass as well, truly difficult games are very much a rarity these days.
Still, there is a small part of me that clings to hope for DA3, not a lot of info is out yet, but it is starting to sound more like DA2 than origins, definitely goiung to be one to rent first rather than buy.

So evidently this thread exists to complain about DA3 potentially not being enough like DAO and to fight over preferences between DAO and DA2? Awesome. It's not like we don't have enough of that elsewhere.

Ultimately, there's not much to discuss since very little about DA3 has been revealed. Until that happens, all one can really do is experience existential angst... which, while it might be helpful, doesn't make for very productive threads. Hopefully once we reveal more about DA3 some of the concerns will be alleviated (or, at least, finally confirmed) but until then you're better off posting in one of the existing threads discussing things that *are* known as this kind of general-purpose thread is just an invitation for fights.
