I'd rather they not have tons of references to movies/tv or whatever else from the real world. Went over the top a bit with that already in DA2.

I think doing tv/movie junk dates a game. I don't mind references to other games though. Like in Origins the little Mass Effect note in the deep roads.

Bioware is entitled to put in any pop-culture references they like, but I don't see how HIMYM is particularly relevant.
The only connection I can think of, and it's extremely tenuous, is that one of the main characters is Canadian.

I would prefer Big Bang Theory, but it's better for the Easter eggs to be situation-appropriate rather than forcing it in there just because they can.

I'm not usually for a series like this to have references to other material, but I'll admit, I would enjoy it if there were some random How I Met Your Mother references. No idea why there would be though. Might make more sense if there was an X-Files or Supernatural reference with all the "inquisition" investigating going on.
