Here's how to fix it.

Host the game.

Tell the guy to use rockets/suicide or else you'll quit.

If he doesn't, quit to force him to restart the wave for being an idiot.

Like everyone else said.... Don't leave the idiot by his lonesome, but he really should try to finish the wave quickly or suicide just to be polite.

I will never suicide just to be polite, that is probably one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen here <_<
The OP and his team, except lone survivor, were incompetent and you want lone survivor to die intentionally because he is carrying their collective butts through 4 waves and taking too long.  We should eat you and the OP.

Let's pretend you're a level one character with just a predator, and you won't use your rockets. You should suicide.

Let's not pretend I have the sense to know my own limits and won't bring a lvl 1 char with a predator out of bronze.  Even with a predator, I'm going to have AP mod on that thing and not to mention it's not that bad of a gun DPS wise. So no I'm not going to suicide on bronze and I'm not wasting a rocket, especially on bronze.

Recently I've just been trying out some odd character and weapon combinations. I was in a Silver, Reaper match on White and downed very early in a couple of waves.

[ HFV with an Incisor and Pirhana if you must know - Yes I'm embarrased! ]

It's just my own damn fault for sporting a stupid build. You just need to sit back, watch, and take your medicine, just hoping that the other players have more sense.

[ I only use an Incisor in Bronze these days with an AV - rubbish weapon, but I'm trying to get Sniper mastery with it]

The way the game works is fine by me.

Adding a limit of 5 min is good enough (extra 5 min if there are objectives to complete).

Of course, this shouldn't apply to the survivor who doesn't have hydras anymore.

The squad should stop sucking, and taking dirt naps then. You included.

Wow, one of the hilariously stupid threads. Maybe the lone survivor could have soloed 4 waves for you and maybe he used his consumables in the first 3 waves he soloed, so he is being cautious the fourth time. Or maybe he is carrying you in a second match and doesn't want to spend consumables for carrying terrible teammates.

Enstead of ruining the game for the ONE player who actually knows how to play, and then come here making an ass of yourself, maybe you should bump it down to something you can actually handle.
And if you think i would waste missiles on 3 Derps
Not using medigel
Getting grabbed by random grappers
Not using missiles themselves.

Derps are wasting their own and survivors time not the other way around.

When this happened to me, the last guy left was the host and there was terrible lag. It was the second match with the guy ( first match I joined mid-game because two folk had quit ). He soloed a wave in the first match and he took forever. The second match, horrible lag once again. When I got killed ( 2nd to last guy ) and stomped I literally went and made a sandwich, 15 minutes later he was still at it. I quit the game and messaged him he that I was leaving because of the horrible lag.

Sometimes its the only thing you can do. A timer is pretty funny, however, I would not be in favor of it. If the guy is just dragging it out, I'll quit and get another game.

The way the game works is fine by me.

Take the Incisor on SIlver with a GI. Works wonderfully, thats how I got the Sniper Mastery with it. It actually has decent ROF without the button mashing of the Raptor.
