Please add a time limit for the sole survivor in a wave

If the entire team except one dies on four separate waves, then those other players are in over their heads, not working as a team, not reviving each other in time, not using missiles to prevent a sync kill, wasted their medigels early on or didn't have or use any, etc. etc.

So yeah, watch and learn.

That said; you died, deal with it. You have no right to complain and should be grateful if the guy pulls it off, if he doesn't then you can possibly complain, provided they didn't use their consumables. Why on earth do I want to use my consumables when I can take something down how I like to. It's freedom. They are 'rewarded' that freedom when they're alone, they're allowed to do it however they like. Granted, when I'm alone and notice something is taking too long I rocket, but sometimes I don't because I just do not want to or the people kept bleeding out. 

Why on earth should the sole survivor be given even more pressure just because everyone died and you want him to hurry up? To be frank, to turn it back on you and away from the survivor, that's ultimately selfish. Especially if said survivor kept reviving and trying to revive fallen teammates. 

P.S. Counter Strike is CS, this isn't CS. It's completely different and shouldn't be compared.

Yes, everything in this topic boils down to you being a jealous jerk.
Maybe the last guy standing doesn't have any rockets, or is playing a support class? Maybe he didn't bring the most powerful weapons because he expect his teammates to actually be good at the game and not die instantly and whine like children? Image IPB

Team work is highly missing in most pugs, out of like 20 pugs yesterday only 3 of those games had people actually talking. The lone sruvivor "problem" can be fixed most times by communicating with each other.  

Tl:dr more pugs need to talk.

OP, why are you angry about a player clutching a wave when the rest of the team (including you) went down for some reason? You should be angry about yourself for dying and not being able to help. And you are mad about that player not using a rocket? Why did you go down in the first place? I'm guessing because of a not-used rocket or a not-used gel (which is the case in like 90% of the time) because someone (probably you) was too stingy with his precious consumables.
Then you want the last guy surviving to use his stuff to speed up the process of helping the dead (read: useless) teammates, when there most probably is no rocket needed.
If he would use a rocket or two I'm guessing you'd be the first person to get angry at him for not having rockets anymore when there really is a rocket needed. Think about it: YOU'RE wasting the time of the one clutching the waves because you made it unnecessary hard, because YOU died. Then you expect the one to use his consumables to help your sorry butt out and get angry when the one doesn't do so? Yeah, right.

Sorry OP, but you sound jealous of the one "fighting bosses with crappy weapons for 15 min." while you are out, nothing more.

Dying alot? Change playstyle, use mic, follow others, watch videos, read forums, etc.

No.  They died.  Does not matter how.  They lost  their ability to determine the outcome of the round.
Not going to change how I play because of three others.'
And when I am one of the ones that die and someone clutches that round I will say "Thanks"  and "Good Job"  no matter how long it took.  Because they did what I could not.
And as a sometime sole survivor:  My time is being wasted since I have to solo 1-4 rounds. 

I have more than one account and only have 2 medi-gels on that acc.  Guess what I play with that acc?  Bronze

Sometimes you have lousy teammates, but you still need to carry on and do your best to keep your team tight. 

However, watching the sole survivor dance around for 15 mins helps nothing. Why? Because most of the enemies were killed before the 3 players die, so the sole survivor can run in circles kiting the last few enemies without anything slowing him down. 

So the 3 players died for the team and have to waste another 15 minutes?

And stop whining about your unrecoverable time being wasted because it's your own goddamned fault for both being dead AND staying in the match.

Even without voice chat you can work together. See a teammate being grabbed by a banshee? Either shoot the hell out of that banshee so she drops the teammate or fire a missile. Teammate down? Revive. Objective? Move to it or protect the player best suited to cap the objective (infi with duration cloak if available) and try to draw off enemies. Are you a volus of Geth engineer? Reinforce your teammates shields as often as you can. Adept? Spam powers to soften up enemies, use BE wherever possible. Don't mess with an enemy your teammate is taking care of, take out the one sneaking up on him.

Most often it is just common sense. But there are players who ignore objectives or try to cap them even as I am already working on them, instead of take out out the enemy sneaking up on us both. Or players who just try to KILL ALL THE THINGS even those targets that are one second away from dying due to a power that does DOT or the target a vanguard is charging just to restore shields/barriers as they are otherwise about to die.

Adding a limit of 5 min is good enough (extra 5 min if there are objectives to complete).

Someone is rapeing his fingers and nerves by taking 15min of his time to kill all the remaning enemies, while you drink coco in front of the screen, and this is how you repay them, by adding a 5min time limit.

Have you ever played Counter Strike in hostage rescue mode or bomb planting/defusing? They have a time limit too.

But I have never heard anyone complaining about it. 


This isn't Counter Strike - what if they lowered the time limit in a Counter Strike match to 2 minutes? Are you sure no-one would comlain?

This has to be op trolling. I dont think he can be enough of an a** hat to complain that people are completing waves after he dies, or that he can seriously say that the only reason people do better than him is because hes killing enemies that they dont know about. Op, if you are serious, you are a sad person.

I played a match today where I had to solo almost every wave. And I don't mean the last 4 enemies. The bums on my team got smoked in the first 3 minutes of every wave. At wave 9 I decided not to gel just because I was sick of them getting rewarded for my efforts. If anything I'd like to see the game auto kick if you die within a certain time of the start of each wave.

A lot of sole survivors think they are good, shooting around for 15 minutes, and guess what? He got killed by the last enemy.

Other players started asking if he didn't have cobras at all. It turns out he had them. Then my headphone will be flooded with curses, He just wasted 15 minutes of everyone's time turning the wave into a failure, and everyone was furious

Even the best player can make mistakes. By forcing them to use cobra to finish the wave quicker, the chance of that happening can actually be lowered.

survivor don't use cobra missile because they know they need to hold the missile for the important moment . and he doesn't know whether his team will use it or die again. they also doesn't know their team will use their own med gel .
if u think people wasting your time , then don't die or even don't play a game
