So players who is carrying you should be punished and forced to use missiles because you have joined a difficulty you cant handle?

No you watch them and watch good, how they play and learn from it
.

That's how I've learned some of what I know, by watching some damn good players.

For me it's situational.  If I have a few brutes and a banshee on my tail and I'm the only one alive I'm not wasting a missile on slow enemies that I can wittle down, besides if my team "entire" was careless enough to get taken down then they can be patient and see how to solo a wave.  While that last statement may sound concieted I will claim right now that I am nowhere near the best player, but I can certainly solo a wave on bronze, silver, and possibly gold depending on how "in the zone" I am.

Anyway thats my two cents :innocent:

What's wrong with using consumables? Do you think consumables are more valuable than time?

The point is they wouldn't have to be forced to use their consumables if you stayed alive, I think time is of course valuble but you seem to think that your time is more valuble than everyone elses.

You missed the point. You have something more powerful, yet you decided to use the weak weapons. Sure they can both kill the enemies, but one takes a second, another make take 5 minutes. What's the point of doing it slowly?

I sometimes refrained from using missiles myself, usually because my teammates were hopeless and I'm not good enough to carry a complete team of Bosh'tets.

Short version, you and your dead friends possibly weren't worth a missile in his mind. YMMV

Ridiculous. OP and team are dead for four waves in a row, so obviously someone isn't medigelling, yet expects the sole survivor to waste his rockets carrying a team that gets repeatedly dropped?

You ever had to carry a team before, OP? I have, and believe me, when players drop dead in consecutive waves and refuse to medigel, I won't waste my time picking them up. I won't risk putting myself at risk for someone who quite possibly will die again within minutes of me risking my ass to revive him the first time. Neither will I waste a rocket on said deadweights unless I am put into a position where I feel I have no other option.

This thread reeks of entitlement of the worst kind.

I have just wasted 10 minutes of my life reading this thread.

I don't like being the lone survivor it makes me more careful than usual thus things take longer.

Scenario:

Wave 9, You are the sole survivor, You have 4 cobras, 2 Praetorian and 1 Possessed Scion left.

What will you do?

It depends where they are in relation to each other, what map I'm on, what class I'm playing and what weapons they're carrying. Need more info.

The two are not mutually exclusive. Consumables take credits or irl cash to acquire, both of those things require time.

I'm not sure, people quitting/getting disconnected are usually replaced quite quickly.

But I never seen getting replaced after Wave 6. Have you ever joined a game at Wave 9 or 10?

Indeed I have - I've even joined a few in Wave 11 and I help them anyway, even though there is no reward for doing so. Fun game is fun :D

Your entire argument is beyond selfish. All of your arguments.

The only reason you're making them is because YOU failed and can't admit that it was YOUR fault.

There's absolutely nothing that's requiring you to stay in the game if the survivor is taking too long (by your singular opinion). Just quit and find a new lobby.

If it takes a player 15 minutes or more to fix the mess YOU created, then you should be thanking that player for not wasting YOUR consumables. And since it happened 4 waves, it's obvious that the player also made you credits that you really don't deserve.

You and your 2 other team members were carried. Plain and simple. To come here and complain that the carry took too long is the pinnacle of entitled absurdity.

Leave the game next time and go back to playing bronze. Then learn to take responsibility for your own failings.

+1

Also, this reply is equal to the Scion's sync kill, he he.

The time of 3 players is less valuable than one's consumables you say?

I would like to try that, but I have never seen such case. That's what I said, the joining mechanism works in a mysterious way. If they can fix that, then sure I will withdraw this request

OP, You are ridiculous.
1. You cannot expect from the only competent player in the game lobby to waste hers/his consumables becouse the rest of the lobby don't want to use their consumables.
2. You cannot expect from the only competent player that s/he will know that You don't have too much time to play the game.

I only play the game when I have enough spare time and I expect that from other people too. If I'm forced to solo waves I'll do it the most efficient way possible for me, becouse I'm the last man standing and the rest of the match depends on me. Not on people laying around dead. If I'm not in the mood to solo waves, I'll do the same thing the rest of the team did, I'll let myself killed and find another lobby.

And by efficient I mean not using consumables. I only play the game for fun, therefore I don't need to finish the match as quickly as humanly possible. Maybe, just maybe the other people You've mentioned are just like me. They have spare time to play the game how they want.

One last thing - If I want to play the whole match solo, I'll play it solo, but if I enter the public lobby, I expect TEAMPLAY, becouse it's a cooperative multiplayer game. If other people don't play like a team by going kamikaze letting themselves killed on the other side of the map, why I should be the only one to play like a good team by using my consumables?

How do you get consumables? Using credits.
How do you get credits? Playing matches.
What do you use to play a match? Time.

How do you get consumables? Using money.
How do you get money? Going to work.
What do you use to go to work? Time.

Consumables = Time

I'd hate to play a game with you... If you died, and I'm forced to solo the wave I'll do it how I like. I'll kite the enemies around, pick off the easy ones first then concentrate on bosses. Don't start having a go at me for taking ages to SOLO a wave. You shouldn't have died, or learn to medi-gel, or learn to not get sync killed by bosses. Simple as. If you don't like it, go to an easier difficulty, kid.

OP, you have got to be the most selfish, entitled, jealous, unworthy jack*** of a player I have ever had the displeasure of running into on the BSN.

When I PuG, I end up having to clutch a wave or two about every third game. I clutched wave 3 in a Collectors Gold match with a level 1 soldier the other day...with a Locust. I had to kill a few abominations, a few troopers, and two possessed scions. It took less then a minute to kill the aboms and troopers, but the scions took a little bit of time to wear down. I'll be damned if I'm going to waste a missile to kill the last two bosses, when I'm perfectly capable of doing it without. I'll save my Cobras for when I really need them...and if you don't like it--dont die. Plain and simple.

If that's too hard? Go play bronze.

A few notes:

1) CS and ME3 MP are so completely opposite from each other, that simply comparing one to the other is doing them both a disservce. Knock it off.

2) I work 50+ hours a week, go to school, go out on dates regularly, help take care of my parents' house, exercise, get my homework done, make good grades, and still have time to play ME3 MP at a relatively elite level. There are these things called clocks...if you have less than 40 minutes, you don't have time for platinum. If you have less than 30 minutes, you don't have time for gold. If you have less than 20 minutes, you don;'t have time for silver. If you have less than 15 minutes, you don't have time for bronze. Be responsible with your time.

3) "Don't waste everyone's time and keep the game moving forward!" Really? Says the guy who died and is now forcing another player to carry him? Image IPB

4) "Most of the time they have exhausted their medi-gel." Seriously? This had better be wave 10, platinum...otherwise you need to back the difficulty down. Because you have no business dying that often in any other difficulty.

5) "If you think 'Hey noob, you die so sit and learn'. I'm sorry, that won't make the game better for the less experienced." No, probably not...but it will absolutely make them better at the game if they pay attention to the playstyle of "the clutcher". Which seems to be exactly what they need, if they're dying that much.

6) "I believe a lot of players still carry only 3 medigels with them." Bullsh!t. Everyone's cap was raised.

7) "So you think the busy grown-ups shouldn't play ME3 multiplayer although they like it? Discrimination won't help anyone here." You sound like the black guy at work that claims he's discriminated against because he's black...when really it's the caucasians that are discriminated against--in his favor. Playing the "I'm an adult" card has no place in this discussion.

8) "Oh, so it's my [...] fault when the other 2 players also ask edthe guy to finish the wave faster, but he just runs around with a weak weapon against 2 or 3 bosses." Yes, it is. It's your own fault for dying. Once you die and bleed out, you lose your say in what happens that wave.

9) "It seems I overrated the importance of teamwork in this game." "Teamwork" is not leaving your teammate to do all the work.

10) I hope you play on PS3. If you do, add me so I can a) see if you're really not the bad player you say you're not, and B) if you are, that way I can troll you by finishing the wave with nothing but my Predator (which will be equipped strictly for your spectating pleasure).
