I have the Enduring Vigil Achievement in Awakening and am planning to save Amaranthine. If I leave Nathaniel Howe in the keep, can I still get the quest? My previous DA2 import I brought him with me, but when he saw Anders (Who I'd left behind in the fort), he made no mention of him being supposedly dead and commented instead on him just leaving the Warden's. So is it fixed now or what?

On the consoles? No. I think you can fix it on PC.

No, Nathaniel must be with you at the end of Awakening when you face the Mother to get his Act 3 quest. No exceptions.
