As everyone say make it like DA:O (I've never played it),not depends on the one ending, get what you choose on the previous games. In this way we both can continue with shepard or custom one.

It would be good joke, if ME4 start with waking up shepard on for example Illusive Man's Base, or even earlier, and team will say to him, that he just has a bad dream (maybe some reaper influence), so we still figth with reapers, i would appreciate that kind of idea, because in fact this war should be verry long, destructive, ect, out there in space we have a lots of inhabited planets, but in ME3 they destroy it in an instant moment LOL WTF? $#%#$%??? And still this kid have no sense, he saying he was made by some older race.. REALLY? How did they managed it, so reapers didn't build Citadel and Relays?

You still think, we have voice here, this is a place to talk to prupose but never to be listen. The whole community hate the original endings, we claim hard to new ones and we get nothing else than an extended version of that "endings". Mass Effect, its about what EA wants, if they want to copy Gears Of War, we are gonna get a game based on a Badass killer more linear and probably PVP multiplayer. If EA wants a game to rivalize Halo (universe, story not gameplay) maybe we are gonna get something more story based. But this franchise is dieying, the people do not trust Bioware anymore, DA2 and ME3 endings were 2 strikes and i painfully though ME4 it gonna be strike 3..... I want to be wrong, i really want to be, iam a fan...... thats the only reason that keep me coming here..... a fans hope.

I don't think so Halo is so good game, i played it 2 and 3, and only gameplay was fun, but its my opinion.
Fans Hope? Yeah its the only thing wich keep my interest in ME, becasue i almost lost all my faith in Bioware.

*A Different story in an alternate ME universe would be the
best, no baggage to deal from ME1-3 and no enraged people that from the Shepard
not being their[/i] Shepard that they
have an exclusive image of, that would be tiers worse that the original ME3 ending
in my opinion.*
I like the idea of the ME Movie that seems to never gain traction. This could
be really well paired with ME4. Think of it this way, the movie is made as a prequel
in conjunction with ME4. The movie interest carries to the upcoming game and
vice versa. Also, if two versions of the movie are made (paragon and renegade)
are made (Something like Clue the movie,) Sale revenue would increase per
dollar spent for the 2 versions vs. the 1. Here is how I figure, every person
that buys a movie ticket to see either paragon or renegade in theaters gets a
unique code tied to their name (or something to ensure it can’t spread out,
like a key code.) Anyway, the person only can get a paragon code w/ paragon
version and renegade w/ renegade who can be used something like genesis for
ME1-->ME2. Only the major points can be chosen. Then when the dvd/Blu-ray
comes out, have additional codes for both stories like genesis but with every
option and decision open and a choice (like playing ME1 vs. Genesis DLC.)
Doing that would have a great chance to increase sales for cost and have more
viewers/players in the movie/game.
Well, that’s my idea, if you use this *fingers crossed* I would love some
compensation![smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/wizard.png[/smilie]

Why not go to a new galaxy? A coalition of species, homeless and lost after the reaper wars build a massive colony ship, using the hibernation technology of the protheans (I'm sure someone was building them in case the reapers won). Or maybe its thousands of year after ME3 and overpopulation is becoming an issue. Either way, a very large collection of the milky way galaxy species travel to a new galaxy to colonize and begin anew. Some species, like the Krogen or Asari, venture off on their own as soon as they arrive, others decide to share homeworlds with each others. Maybe the Quarrians and Geth. Or the Quarrians and the Turians. Let the player pick their race and have the story follow the beginnings of the new civilizations. Start either right as the main colonies are being established, or a few decades or centuries into the colonization process. The politics of a new council, and the exploration of an unknown galaxy with new aliens would be the main driving points. Maybe one mission, a mystery illness is traveling across the new colonies, and it would wipe out a specific species before the others. The player would have to decide if they would cure it right away or let it do some damage to advance their own specie's place of power in the new galaxy. Ultimately the players choices will result in either a more unified galaxy or outright civil war and conquest.

This is going to be different. But I want that Shepard legacy to remain as it is. I'd like Mass Effect 4 to be a sequel, set 100-200 years from the end of ME3 synthesis ending. Somewhere down the line, the Milky Way civilizations discover how to build some sort wormhole to the Andromeda galaxy (could also be a modified Mass Relay that sends a ship into subspace or something). A team of Reapers would have been sent much earlier and made some discovery. Something that peaked the interest of a larger group back home. Perhaps a Citadel - and several new civilizations at are aware of previous harvested civilizations in their galaxy by the Reapers is discovered, only forgotten by the Reapers because the Citadel was figured out and prevented Reapers from coming back to their galaxy. Once the intergalatic bridge/wormhole or whatever is complete, many from the Milky Way make there way to Andromeda to explore and meet new cultures. They also want to give(or force) them the "gift" of synthesis. Andromeda civilizations, seeing this as an invasion, resists, much like the people of Milky way did with the Reapers. A very powerful and advanced society, they are fierce. Meanwhile, an antagonist makes itself known and figures out a way to separate the organic from synthetic, and eventually does so. The goal is to then assimilate itself into the Reapers and take control of the Reapers, Andromeda, the interglactic bridge, and eventually the Milky Way. Obviously mass caos erupts, and now a new hero is built to put everything back together.
This is an idea that would be a lot of fun to explore. Completely fresh, not a prequel, and leaves open the option for new heroes, new civilizations, new exploration, a new epic adventure. All while leaving the original Shepard trilogy for what it is.

- sequel,
- I want more talky-techy things not 70%combat 30% dialogues -they do not have to be obligatory; who doesn't want dialogues, sidestories, intrigues, detective stuff can go for mindless shooting (citadel dlc was good start - tho it is only dlc :/) and push the main plot,
...
-I would really want a continuation of the trilogy; with shep and his comrades. It is not like it has no future potential; it has well developed characters and world (with screwed up finale
) there are tons of new possibilities... ah... keep on dreaming

When Bioware is to create a new version of the MassEffect franchise (i.e. Mass Effect 4) it would be better to reboot it completely (hold on I'll explain).
I feel that by creating a prequel (although it would be cool to see) it would damage the franchise, because we all know what happens, and Mass Effect is based on choses that shape our outcome in your personal campaign, and there are so many back stories for various races. Which story do you choose the First Contact War, The Morning War, The Rachni War, ect. Because they are all as equally good with a lot of potential for a great story, but as I said there is no room to create your own story in these events because they already happened. Next option would be to do a parallel story, I find that although this one would be just as intriguing as a back story game Bioware would have to be able to call your previous games choices into it. Lastly do a game in the future, I find that this one is the best option because it allows for the most amount of possibility. However, having said that, I feel that the only way to create a new game that isn’t tide down to the events of the first series (as there were various endings that could occur) you reboot, or rather put in a setting that is outside the bounds of the chooses of the last three games. This could be done by putting it into the distant future where the Reaper War is just that a mark in history that is only reference. To make a new game compatible with the various endings it could be said that Reaper Tech was salvaged and used to help expand into uncharted territory, the biotic enhancements (weather chosen or not) that merged man and machine were a grate invention but inevitably failed when a hybrid retro virus was created and wiped out a massive amount of the galaxies population and everyone was forced to give up the upgrading. As for the side stories, the Krogan virus (cured or not) eventually was abolished by the council as the Krogan race entered a new stage in there evolution. The Geth and Quarian conflict (no matter the choice) the Quarians suffered many losses in the war but with aid and determination used salvaged Reaper Tech to rebuild the Geth and in turn rebuild their home world. These races were eventually admitted to become council races.
Sorry for the tangent, but this leads up to the new games idea, expanding to a new galaxy. By taking this option it would a lot for a plethora of new game content that would in turn create a better experience and story that isn’t completely tide down to the previous one. You are one of a few expeditionary forces sent threw an experimental Mass Relay to a galaxy that was describe in Reaper archives. In this game the player would be a part of a colony, allotting for various backstories like the previous series (ergo the previous Spacer, Earth born, Colonist and Sole Survivor, War Hero, Ruthless) these could be the same or have slight variations. A few years after your arrival the conflict strikes, weather this is a new enemy (new alien race or races), or a civil war between the council races, etc. (I could go on story lines for a while but as not to bore you I leave it with that).
As for gameplay I would have to say that I’m one of those people that would like to be another race, in both campain and multiplayer, besides human mainly to see how others in the universe would react and interact with me, and get a new game experience, making me want to go back and play the game over and over again. Also allotting that certain races would have access to various other abilities, customizations, technology, and story lines (exp. A Geth could interface with a computer and relive a piece of the Morning war, where a human could only watch it, giving the Geth grater insight into the evens giving the Geth more Paragon or Renegade options.) However, this could be achieved with squad mates like the last series, but with less of an overall customized experience.
As I brought up, a colony. This would allow players to have a home base to return to and make their own, allowing them to spend credits on various options for expansion, defense, offence, personalization (of colony and home), income, diplomacy, trade, relationships and research upgrades for weapons, armor, vehicles, and their starship. After various side missions tech can be found to enhance the research options to create a new look, source of income, and better tech for your colony. The colony could also act as a means for players to interact in there social groups and multiplayer, as they try to help one another to defend each other’s colonies (similar to Mass Effect 3 but with a personal touch) giving various rewards or consequences should you win or lose against your opponent. Not only that but (should you choose) you could get married and possibly have children forcing you to fight that much harder to defend your colony, again adding to the story and gameplay. You could even use your progeny as a war asset to help the cause upping your colonies ratting against an attack. It could also have skill points or skill tree like a character that would a lot toward various arias making the colony more Scientific (better research), Military (better defense and offence), or Agricultural and Mining (better income and diplomacy). And as stated these asses could be used to assist fellow players in a co-op multiplayer experience as much as your own (exp. Giving soldiers, money, minerals, or tech, etc. to a friend) essentially “buying into their stock” making it more even should you wish to implement your skills toward one aspect of your colonies skill tree.
As for my last thought on gameplay would be integration of other players into your universe. This could have various levels. As another player could potentially enter your universe (be cool with other races to play.) and assist you in your story. The question is to what level? Should they be able to interact in conversations or have a prompt to (allowing for good cop bad cop sonorous)? Should they only be limited to interact in the battle and exploration portions of the game with their own character or a premade sidekick? Should they only be limited to the co-op multiplayer only assisting in upping your colonies readiness ratting? Personally as fun as the entering them into a story would create a more visceral experience there are too many variables to account for as they may muck up your story, and if they aren’t there on a constant basis it would also interfere with the overall story (plus this would be hell for Bioware to implement). As for letting other players participate in the battles and exploration missions this wouldn’t be too bad as they are just assisting in a fight to complete a mission. However, if I had to choose I would just stick with only allowing other players to help in the co-op multiplayer as this has the least chance of interfering with the individual campaign like Mass Effect 3.
These are my thoughts so far for Mass Effect 4. I would like to hear your questions and comments. So, for or against any of these proposed ideas, feel free to tell me what you think. I enjoy conversation.
