I agree with another poster that says Liara copied shep's DNA and can use it later to get pregnant she doesn't need to do it right then nothing in the Asari information we have suggests they can't put your code on file for later when things are better. So she can be pregnant right there after she does it which isn't a problem for her anyway because she's not giving birth 10 minutes from the time she does it or she can wait till after the war has ended shep is dead and as the SB she'll be able to see does the world need a new shep now or should I hold off for 100 more years?
If its a hundred years later she can do it and then make the next galactic hero to stop whatever threat there is. Not saying I like the sneaky way she copied shep if he/she isn't her LI but Liara has already proven she'll do whatever it takes when it comes to shep to preserve him/her for whatever unspoken reasoning she has.
Is Liara pregnant?

What is the conversation if you say no anyway? I've never refused it, and I probably never will, so I've got no idea.
I'm guessing it's more along the lines of "No thanks" than "F*ck off" though, right?
Ya, its more of "sorry, not enough time"

As for my opinion...and as someone who doesn't romance Liara...that scene perfectly sums up the relationship between the two.
Definitely a great scene before the end of the series.

Could be her cheeky attempt at always having that little bit of Shepard with her. So yes, essentially rape.
If you're romancing her, it could be a consensual act of love, see above.
Or! It could just be Liara revealing the true depths of her emotions and feelings for Shepard, whether he romances her or not, allowing him to see himself through her eyes, her emotions and her thoughts. Which is a rather beautiful thing if you ask me, even if you don't romance her. Because, to be honest, even if you don't romance her and are only friends, I still think that she simply loves Shepard.
The way she behaves around him and what she does for him all screams an attatchment. Hell, she went to the ends of the Galaxy and went toe-to-toe with some of the most fearsome organisations around just for a slim chance to bring you back from death.
This, along with the explaination in ME3 as to -how- Asari actually get pregnant did kind of make me wonder if maybe Liara was and did it to try and hold on to Shepard once again. More then that I kind of looked at it a step further, Liara did say the Asari can actually choose exactly what they do or don't take from a partner when procreating. So would it be possible for an Asari to take every part of the other being and nothing of themselves during procreation? In effect creating an entire Shepard with memories and all intact? So much still uncertain as to exactly how this works. Could she basically have cloned Shepard as a way of keeping him/her alive in the fact of unlikely survival against the Reapers? Liara had plans for everything else so why wouldn't she have had plans of finding every possible way for herself and Shepard to live and continue their species. It was after all, simply about survival of the species not of the individuals.

Xilizhra If I think about it... Yes, that's the best time of all. When the world collapses, why not create a new life after so much killing? The first ray of hope comes when the night is the darkest. In Battlestar Galactica, there's a quote for this: "We must stop the fighting and we better start having babies." Well, I'm not sure I remember it right you see what I mean.
That idea about Shepard's kid as a squadmate... Well, I like it very much

Edit: although no point getting worried about it, there is no way BW would include this in ME4.
