Just finished Mark of the assassin. it prpably is the best DLC of bioware. Orlais was so much fun.
SO was Tallis. I think Felicia day (which i did not know her before Mota at all) did a great job. Tallis seemed very interesting to me.
After Mota was over Varic said we would se her again.
Is there any chance she would be in DAI as a companion?
What do you fellow Dragon age fans say?

You know what? I say if people want tallis as a companion let them have it! As for those who don't they should also be given an option to not recruit her.(Diana alles). I think that would be fair for everyone

It is the best piece of DLC, we will probably see her again, but in what capacity is up in the air.

i chuckled at leleiana when she said about shoes...
Who wrote the character of tallis? Up to what point was Felicia day involved?
Although i don like her acting in the web series in Mota she pretty much nails it.

I'm really not a big fan of Tallis. I'm ok with her returning though, just not as a companion.

Wasn't she related to Qunari problems. Can't really see why she'd get involved in the mage/templar war. Can see her being back when the Qunari eventually invade as they keep saying they will. Which hopefully wont be this game.

I'd prefer not. I didn't really care much for the character or voice-acting at all. Prior to the big blowup here about it, I'd never heard of Felicia Day so it's not that I dislike her (I know literally nothing about her except a lot of people here were angry over her voicing a character that she apparently created for acting out her fan-fiction) I just didn't think her voice-over was on par with the rest of the voice-over cast. Her lines didn't sound natural to me. They were a bit.. stilted.

As for Talis the character, she just wasn't that interesting to me. If they came up with a great reason for her to be hanging around in DA3 instead of returning to the Qunari I wouldn't moan and complain about it, but I'd prefer they give us new companions with new backgrounds and new stories than to pull her or any other companion into DA3. I wasn't a fan of what Anders and Merrill turned into in DA2 or how Oghren was in Awakening and I just don't want to see the downfall of any other companions, including those I didn't care much for to begin with.

well maybe the qunari mages revolt somehow the "qunari leashes" and Tallis is sent after them, so she joins our main character.

If Gaider (or whoever writes that stuff) fits in a reason so it makes sense I'm good with it. I was really bothered by the whole Qunari plot in 2. While it was good it didn't fit with the game being about something else. It was like they tried 2 major plots in one game. I didn't play MotA so I can't comment on Talis, but I'll keep saying the same thing I say on every other "X for squadmate" thread. If it makes sense to the story, yay. If not, leave them off the roster.

In my opinion Legacy was killer as I like the grey warden/darkspawn story line way better

I really enjoyed the Talis character and when I found out that the voice actress for her and character for her was the same as the character from Redemption I was really excited to see her in game. I do agree that if she is not pertinent to the story leave her out but if she was I would definitely enjoy seing her as a companion should I elect to purchase DAI

Ok.... OK... You convinced me. I guess I need to re-install DA2 and try out the DLCs. The completionist in me can't stand not knowing who these characters are,

I'm actually more concerned about the "list" Talis got away with were there any important chantry members names on it?

I'd love to see Tallis in the same way I'd love to take up the habit of chewing glass and performing press ups with my eyes on the business end of a nine inch nail.

I like both Felicia Day and Tallis so I support this. Although, I did feel her VO was a bit below average. I still love Felicia Day though...Image IPB

I ve yet to play legacy and i ll play it (i bought it 1 week agog along with mota) after some quests in act 3.
I relly want to hear your opinion on Mota after you finish it. It amazed me (i fund one particular puzzle frustating ; te floor puzzle, the rest of the puzzles were great though)

mota is one of the worst DLC that i have played, the railroad is so intense, and the end was so bad
save your money in something better

I would not mind if she was a companion. I really enjoyed both legacy and mota they are probably the two best dlc pieces bioware has made. You can play them at any point in the game barring the intro. Anyway, yes more Tallis please. Maybe make it a dlc character for those that want her. Since it would not be fair to those that don't want her. Like Javik or kasumi.

I didn't buy this DLC since I didn't really like DA2 and never replayed it. Was it worth it?

@taint master well both dlc's are playable at any point in the game barring the intro. Based on how far you are in the game the dlc banter for both legacy and mota will reflect that. All your party members have new banter. I would say legacy is more of an action adventure dealing with darkspawn and wardens. Mark of the assassin is more action comedy, dealing with Orlesians and qunari.

Both dlc's are great, have some cool boss fights. Feel like bioware really listened to fan feedback in regards to da2. Although both games have outcomes that are inevitable. Still the choices in the dlc's up until the end (and stories) are great!
