I'm hoping the player characters is not yet another hero from Ferelden. We've already had two of those. Thedas is a big continent populated by many different peoples. There is plenty of room for heroes who don't have a connection to Ferelden.

I'm actually hoping they keep going with Fereldans leading up to an eventual (though long distant) finale revealing something special about Fereldan that explains why a country one bad day short of barbarism pumps out these kinds of people.

Riordan's accent was bad@ss, and Leliana's was sexy.

It's all a matter of preference.  I found both of their voices grating (not Isolde grating but still), but to each their own.

If the player character isn't Orlesian himself, than I hope his origins lie in another region other than Ferelden. Like the Anderfels, for example.

Riordan sounded like a wise veteran badass. I'm curious to see who they'll choose as voice actor for our character, maybe Steve Martin.

Standard accent, like Hawke. Failing that anything but a heavy french accent. A light french accent might be workable. But a heavy french accent means I wont buy the game because every instance of Orliesan accents thus far have been annoying, except for Leliana. Which is why a light french accent might work.

An accent that matches where the protagonist is from, if they are from Orlais they better have an Orlesian accent!

I guess you could be from a place and not have an accent per say but I'd hope more for one if that was the case.
